Really really disappointed with all of our meals and general experience at Bradys last night. We went there last year and it was the best pub meal you could ever ask for, only to find that when we got there last night everything was far from satisfactory. We booked our table for 30 people 3 weeks in advance, and luckily some pulled out and we only had 15 people as we got to our reservation at 7pm, ordered at 7:15pm and they were out of nearly everything! No schnitzel, no parmi’s, no garlic bread and no lamb cutlets. We were all forced to then order steak and not one of them was cooked correctly, all of them were either black and too tough to cut through or on the verge of being raw (all steaks were supposed to be medium rare and medium). Chips were dry and over salted, salad was hot and mashed potato was almost a liquid as well as every meal being cold. Not only did they run out of food but we waited an hour for the poor food we did receive. I have never in my life left anywhere a poor review but this was far from okay, the live music right in the middle of the tables in the bistro was far far too loud, couldn’t even speak to the person next to you. Not to mention the poor attitude of the staff members. I understand they were very busy but considering we booked our table a month in advance I would’ve appreciated a phone call to let us know that they have no food as we would’ve made other arrangements. Ended up spending more money on takeaway as no one could eat their meals. Very...

Bradys Hotel Pub, Albury – A True Gem

Bradys Hotel Pub in Albury is an absolute standout! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly blends classic pub charm with a modern edge. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.

The food is phenomenal—generous portions, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Their menu caters to all tastes, with classic pub favorites alongside some creative dishes that truly elevate the dining experience. The steak I had was cooked to perfection, and the fresh, local ingredients were evident in every bite.

The drink selection is equally impressive, featuring an excellent range of beers on tap, local wines, and creative cocktails. Whether you’re there for a casual drink or a full dining experience, the bar staff ensure your glass is never empty.

The ambiance is lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot for everything from a family meal to a night out with friends. The live music on weekends is a fantastic touch, adding to the vibrant energy of the place.

Bradys Hotel Pub is not just a venue—it’s an experience. If you’re in Albury, this is a must-visit destination that will leave you planning your next trip back. Highly...

Brady’s has a nice set up for a pub meal and we were returning to an old favourite venue after a long break with my parents before taking them to vote. Good service from staff in terms of being friendly and prompt. Food however, was disgusting. My dad had nachos- the guacamole on the top was a weird discoloured mound that looked like it needed to go in the bin. The bottom of it was all stuck to the plate and he described the meat as looking like “black worms”. He did not finish. My husband had the bangers and mash. He had 1-2 mouthfuls and discarded it. Snags were pale hideous looking things and mashed potato “tasted like flour” as did the gravy. My mum had the fish- “ reheated and reheated and reheated” until it was rock hard on the outside. Chips smelled like the oil needed changing and also had been just sitting waiting for a long time. I had a steak. It was ok. We do not have unrealistic expectations about pub meals - just something tasty, filling and not too expensive. My parents don’t get out much any more and as former pub owners like to have a good counter lunch when they do. The fact that 3/4 meals were pretty horrible left me thinking that there was no point complaining or speaking to anyone about it. This review is a cautionary...

DISGUSTING is the only way we can describe what was served up to us under the guise of FOOD....went there for lunch and we both had BEEF and GUINNESS PIE with chips..firstly the pies didnt look or taste like we ordered, the pies were dry and lacked any kind of moisture..we removed the tops and discovered 5 tiny pieces of meat and absolute load of mushrooms.2nd pie had 3 pieces of a substance we think was meat but filled with mushrooms.the plates were loaded with over cooked ,over salted poor excuse for beer batter chips..presentation was something you would expect at a takeaway shop.ended up leaving and went to a cafe for lunch which cost us more $$$$..LOST OUR PATRONAGE....Good luck serving this to paying customers.....

The staff where very friendly, helpful and down to earth. The place all in all was very clean and tidy with great facility's. Now let's talk about food it was amazing the chip where full of flavor and some of the best I've ever had, the rump steak was cooked perfectly and could have gone for seconds, the mushroom sauce complemented the steak and a must try. The salad was the icing on the cake and as for the garlic bread well it was great just just like everything else. Overall like myself if you looking for a great meal as your passing through albury this is the place to go.

Ordered a classic parma (parmi) and a porterhouse steak with pepper sauce. Service wasn't great, waited a long time standing at the counter before someone took notice. Parma had cubed ham (like that cheap stuff you get on cheese and bacon rolls) and tasteless tomato mush instead of a sauce. Pepper sauce was literally inedible, it tasted like it had an entire container of pepper in it. Chips had WAY too much salt/seasoning, couldn't eat them. The one good thing I can say, the veggies that came with the parma were very nice, good variety and amount, well cooked.
