Really really disappointed with all of our meals and general experience at Bradys last night. We went there last year and it was the best pub meal you could ever ask for, only to find that when we got there last night everything was far from satisfactory. We booked our table for 30 people 3 weeks in advance, and luckily some pulled out and we only had 15 people as we got to our reservation at 7pm, ordered at 7:15pm and they were out of nearly everything! No schnitzel, no parmi’s, no garlic bread and no lamb cutlets. We were all forced to then order steak and not one of them was cooked correctly, all of them were either black and too tough to cut through or on the verge of being raw (all steaks were supposed to be medium rare and medium). Chips were dry and over salted, salad was hot and mashed potato was almost a liquid as well as every meal being cold. Not only did they run out of food but we waited an hour for the poor food we did receive. I have never in my life left anywhere a poor review but this was far from okay, the live music right in the middle of the tables in the bistro was far far too loud, couldn’t even speak to the person next to you. Not to mention the poor attitude of the staff members. I understand they were very busy but considering we booked our table a month in advance I would’ve appreciated a phone call to let us know that they have no food as we would’ve made other arrangements. Ended up spending more money on takeaway as no one could eat their meals. Very...

The food is phenomenal—generous portions, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Their menu caters to all tastes, with classic pub favorites alongside some creative dishes that truly elevate the dining experience. The steak I had was cooked to perfection, and the fresh, local ingredients were evident in every bite.

Read moreBrady’s has a nice set up for a pub meal and we were returning to an old favourite venue after a long break with my parents before taking them to vote. Good service from staff in terms of being friendly and prompt. Food however, was disgusting. My dad had nachos- the guacamole on the top was a weird discoloured mound that looked like it needed to go in the bin. The bottom of it was all stuck to the plate and he described the meat as looking like “black worms”. He did not finish. My husband had the bangers and mash. He had 1-2 mouthfuls and discarded it. Snags were pale hideous looking things and mashed potato “tasted like flour” as did the gravy. My mum had the fish- “ reheated and reheated and reheated” until it was rock hard on the outside. Chips smelled like the oil needed changing and also had been just sitting waiting for a long time. I had a steak. It was ok. We do not have unrealistic expectations about pub meals - just something tasty, filling and not too expensive. My parents don’t get out much any more and as former pub owners like to have a good counter lunch when they do. The fact that 3/4 meals were pretty horrible left me thinking that there was no point complaining or speaking to anyone about it. This review is a cautionary...
