August 2023 - Have stopped visiting this once favourite coffee shop. No more teapots, no more crockery. Paper cups 👎 paper plates 👎 paper bags👎 So upsetting the whole ambience has changed. Bring back proper cups, saucers, plates and teapots. We miss visiting you. -------‐-------------------------------------- Original Review Finally!! Coffee that isn't bitter!! Yay!! As a bonus too the customer service is above and beyond anything we've recently come across. It's like we'd stepped back in time. Food is always fresh and beautifully presented. It was a unique feeling placing an order and receiving what we actually ordered .. and all done with smile! I especially love sitting in the sun with a pot of strong white English Breakfast tea .. and not tea bags either .. loose tea ♡ If you want a lovely little interlude in your day this is the place to go. Thank you to the lady who makes us so welcome and makes a great cuppa .. see...

Excellent customer service. Was strolling through the area around volt lane and in the mood for a cuppa. He staff at the place were closing up. One of the lovely ladies saw me walking and asked if I would be wanting a coffee. I told yes and, she with a smile went into the shop and proceeded to make a coffee. Cappuccino with two sugars as requested. Best part, was that I didn't know that they gave a donut for every coffee purchase.... and as they were out of donuts, she offered to give a piece of cake. I requested for a hedgehog slice, which she gave with a smile. Made my evening. Now, that's amazing...

Customer service here was exceptional. Really engaging and helpful. It us a smallish store but has plenty of under cover seating and tables. I had the curry pie and it was ok a little crusty on the outside for my personal liking but some people may live their pies like that. It is in the middle of volt lane so their a lot if parking lots around but not right out the front. Recommend for a quick pie or...
