Travelling from Cairns via car and through my Quest accom I asked for a wine bar to visit. The Wool House was recommended. This place is the most amazing experience I have had in all my stops over decades of travel. I highly recommend the atmosphere and service. There is a beautiful golden lab named Bella the owner has that is exceptionally behaved. It was her 4th bday today when I walked in. She was lying peacefully under there table. Her friend the pug Ernie came in and it was the most special experience to witness. Thank you for sharing this undeniably special moment with the public! Particularly myself! You guys should be commended and others should follow suit! What a truly memorable moment in time for me!

My partner and I loved it so much after our date night that we came back the following weekend with our dogs Mr Gatsby and Willow were so happy they finally got to leave the house and what better place to beer out then The woolhouse with your dogs. The first time we tried their charcuterie board with a cheese Gavin recommended the honey soy wings and the maple hot wings which were amazing this time around we chose the Szechuan pepper squid and you can't go past a crispy bowl of chips. 10/10 Our favourite beers at the moment are wolf of the Willows Amber Ale The Wolf of the Willows Draught And the fixation IPA. Their cocktails are also really tasty

Update 20th May 2021 Can't drop half a star, so have to drop a whole one. On a quiet night, Staff member that can't keep track of the only person (at the bar) who has been patiently waiting for service for almost 5 minutes and the person that just walked up. Not only was she super slow serving the person before me, but to serve the person that just walked up was a bit too rude. There was only the 2 of us, so it's not rocket science. Promptly left and went to Zed bar less than a minute walk away. Sorry Gavin.
