I don't know how to explain the food I will try, we had chicken with cashew nuts and plate of mix vegetables & fried rice. Well the chicken & cashews nuts was simple but tasty and lots of it chicken and surprisingly vegetables. The mix vegetables were plenty and delicious, not covered in over powering sauce but vegetables you could taste, the fried rice was more boiled buy contained ham/egg etc. The service was fantastic and we had a lovely chat with the owner Candy. Overall the restaurant was clean and tidy with decent service and excellent simple food that didn't rely on heavy sauces. Would we go back, yes. Sorry about the photos I forgot to take some but you can see the result

Would not recommend, wait time was over 1 hour and 10 mins. Food was not great, ordered prawn cutlets, 2 pieces of deep fried prawn came on top of prawn chips. Chicken Fried Rice was even worse, presentation was atrocious as you can see from the photo, taste was not great, chicken was like minced chicken not chicken pieces. Would not recommend any of the food here. Service was non existent, asked the younger waitress how long our mains would be she said I don’t know, and walked away. Suggest training her in customer service or hiring more competent staff. I believe their main priority is getting out take away orders and not serving the the customers in the restaurant.

We have been going here for years. Really good for kids - traditional chinese - the kids love the sizzling chicken or sizzling beef - not too hot but flavoursome. Dining in with kids is acceptable. Price is slightly on the expensive side of things but OK for the quality of the food. Nothing too glamorous here - just good old fashioned chinese food. Recommend for dine in chinese with kids.

We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time. Advertised as "Albury's Best Chinese Restaurant" on their website, we had high hopes, however their website is extremely misleading. As most people do we read the menu online before visiting to see what was available. My family were travelling from out of town so they were relying on this as their only idea of the menu. A banquet is usually a good value for money option and the prices were listed on their website so we knew what to budget for. However when we got to the restaurant their dine-in menu was completely different and more expensive. When we challenged the staff on this they stated the prices online were for their takeaway menu only (yet it does not state this on the website anywhere), dine-in options are more expensive and they could not provide takeaway meals or prices for dine-in guests. We were really unhappy with this response and suggested they update their website to avoid misleading others. They said that the owner's "poor English" and "language barriers" would impair them from altering the website...yet they were able to put the menu online in the first place. They claimed we were the only people who had ever had this trouble, which is clearly inaccurate upon reading many other reviews. The food was decent, but not for the price we ended up paying. They took far too long to clear our table which was frustrating when having a banquet with several plates coming all at once and no room on the table. After raising our concerns for their false advertising they offered no compensation and seemed unwilling to improve. So we are left with no other choice than to leave a bad review on their already suffering 3 star rating. We won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend this poorly run...

my sister and i went to imperial chopsticks tonight for dinner, and i wish we didn’t. it wasn’t busy at all tonight, but maybe too busy for the two staff members to keep up. firstly we ordered 2 lemon, lime and bitters. we waited a good 15 minutes for the waitress to let us know they didn’t actually have any and to get something else. we waited 20 minutes for water that we had to ask for. we ordered our food, it took about 30 minutes for the first few things to come out but the honey chicken didn’t. we waited a while before asking the waitress how long it was going to be and we had no response from her afterwards. the customer service was almost laughable it was that bad. no checking on tables, no eye contact, nothing. it took 30 minutes after the first parts came out for the honey chicken to come out, and no apology for the wait. we tried it, and it was disgusting. chewy and gross. when we went up to pay we asked nicely for the honey chicken to be taken off as it was inedible. she asked her boss, came back and said rudely “we can’t take it off, but we can put it in a takeaway container” and i told her that we don’t want it because it was disgusting. she was so rude to us, so i told her how bad the customer service was. i said we need some type of compensation, she got her boss and her boss was lovely and took the honey chicken off our bill. we will never ever go back there. the customer service was horrible and the food wasn’t...

The prices on the website are not accurate. The website menu lists cheap prices to lure you in and then once you get to the restaurant the prices are more expensive.

Here was the response when I spoke to the staff and owner:

I was told that the cheaper prices on the website are takeaway only, not dine-in (it does not specify this anywhere on the website - check for yourself).

I was told that no one else has mentioned this problem before. This is not correct as I can see several other reviews complaining about the same thing.

I was told that the owner does not know how to update the website.

I was told that the restaurant was not willing to honour the prices on the website that were advertised.

I will be reporting this to the ACCC because this is misleading advertising. Please do not support these dishonest business practices.

I will be happy to remove this review when the...
