If you're on the hunt for the ultimate Thai dining experience, look no further than Thai Lotus Restaurant. I've visited many Thai restaurants over the years, but none have come close to the authenticity, flavor, and overall experience that Thai Lotus offers. This place truly stands out as the best in town.

Ambiance: The moment you step into Thai Lotus, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly blends traditional Thai decor with modern touches. The soft lighting, elegant furnishings, and subtle Thai accents create an atmosphere that is both cozy and sophisticated. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or on a romantic date, the setting here is just perfect.

Food: Now, let's talk about the food—the real star of the show. The menu at Thai Lotus is extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Thai dishes that are bursting with flavor. Each dish is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the chefs clearly have a deep understanding of authentic Thai cuisine. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, flavorful stir-fries, or aromatic noodle dishes, you'll find something to love here.

I highly recommend starting with their Tom Yum soup—a perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory flavors that awakens your taste buds. The Pad Thai is another must-try, with its perfect combination of tender noodles, crunchy peanuts, and a hint of sweetness. For the curry lovers, the Green Curry is a delight, rich in coconut milk and packed with vegetables and your choice of protein.

Service: The service at Thai Lotus is impeccable. From the moment you walk in, the staff is attentive, friendly, and eager to make your dining experience memorable. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. The food is served promptly, and the presentation is always top-notch.

Value: One of the things that sets Thai Lotus apart from other restaurants is the value for money. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices are incredibly reasonable. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied...

I’ve eaten here since it first opened…. I’ve lived and worked in Thailand in the 70s..at least 10 visits to Thailand, so I believe I’m qualified to rate Thai food 😊…well over 20 years , never had a disappointment at this restaurant …. My favourite Thai restaurant in Australia…. I’ve read reviews where folk say such things as ‘celery is not a traditional Thai ingredient’ etc…. What IS traditional Thai is to use FRESH, SEASONAL vegetables, which is what Pat & Thip ( the owners) have always used, made sure to oversee the quality of food , service and the ambiance …. Always spotlessly clean , from the kitchen to the restrooms…. I hope they never close this iconic Albury restaurant!

PS…. The food is magnificent ( dine in, take out, delivery) as is the...

Decided on take away because these guys were the best last time I ate there. This time was dreadful. I’ve never had such a strange tasting weird coloured supposed “red curry” in my life. No idea how they can call it red curry. It was brown at best, with absolutely no hint of red curry flavour. In fact I can’t even say what it tasted like! The Thai fried rice with chicken was woeful. Looked like a really average Chinese fried rice. The chicken looked and tasted like an afterthought. It’s as if they had forgotten it was supposed to have chicken in it, and added cooked chicken from another dish. It was tasteless, dry and tough. Not to mention how much 3 x dishes cost! In excess of $70! Won’t be...

This Thai restaurant is situated in the Main Street if Albury. It can be challenging to get a park at night especially Friday to Sunday. It has quite a good ambience to it. The food is quite good but I will always choose the other Thai in the same street as it is just that little bit better four. Customer service is really good here and it is very efficient service. Thus is a great Thai restaurant just not the best in the street.

We visited here while on an overnight stopover in Albury. This will certainly be our restaurant of choice for our next visit. The food is really good and the service is outstanding. We sat near the waiters' station and it was a pleasure to observe their professionalism. While the decor is pleasant enough, the room feels a little closed-in, otherwise I would have given it five stars.
