Chimek Northbridge — Restaurant in Northbridge

We went at around midnight, it is a great late night food option when you feel like something greasy. They serve alcohol here too, I noticed Korean beer and Soju in the fridge behind the counter. The place itself is not very big, with maybe four long high tables with barstools to accommodate maybe 4-6 people and a couple of smaller tables for 1-2 people.

The server was nice, but seemed it have a bit of trouble with English, we still ordered ok, but it took a bit longer than usual. Having said that the food came out pretty quickly and was good.

We got the lemon and herb chicken - nice crispy battered chicken that's succulent inside and well seasoned. The lemon and herb part was like flakey sprinkles of sour lemony bits and dried herbs.

We also got Mexicano loaded fries. You can get this as nachos too, but we opted for the chips. It was a generous portion piled up with toppings. If came with jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, and smokey cheese sauce. It really hit the spot for late night snacking.

When ordering food I also ordered a drink, it wasn't until almost after the meal that I realised they didn't bring it out. When I asked at the counter the server told me it was self serve from the fridge at the front. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that at the time I ordered.

Great chicken Music has become annoying. Putting on a Chris Brown playlist where songs repeat themselves three times in a row doesn't really make me enjoy my time there.

Occasionally there is someone on that cares about the music they're playing and actually put some good stuff on, but most of the time it's just an artist's YouTube playlist or mumble rappers. Altogether cringey.

Food is slow to come out now and the quality of service has also bottomed out. They seem surprised when someone asks to use Rewardle.

Reduced my rating to one, as I decided to give it a try again, but they got my order incorrect and I got boneless instead of wings. This brings the total to three incorrect orders, the last time being the order before this (So twice in a row now). The place was not busy so there really isn't an excuse to...

We enter this small, yet well social distane’d restaurant. We order two southern fried chicken burgers and take our seats. My girlfriend and I are chatting and i hear a rather large commotion outside. This homeless lady is wondering pass, yelling obscenities. She stops outsides and looks at the well-mannered girl behind the counter. The girl locks eyes with her, no fear in her eyes. The lady moves closer to the entry. My girlfriend and I look at each other — the possibility of throwing hands has increased. The lady yells a question at the girl. You can hear this woman’s voice giving out at stress of the noise she is making. The girl looks puzzled, shakes her head and just walks off. People like this are the real heroes of everyday Australia. Wait...this was meant to be a review about chicken...the chicken was pretty good...
