Guys it's a time waste, especially when you are hungry please don't go there(perth location), at your own risk I would say. We saw reviews and thought it vl be great. We ordered chicken fried rice which was $13, she put something else instead of what i want which is $ 20 dish and when we asked her back she was like not even sorry, arrogant Nd says his manager told to do that Nd when I asked for my order again she somehow agreed to it and then she wasn't ready to give remaining amount as refund and again she was saying my manager told not to give. Like am not getting what sought of training is this for the service and guys all this happened night at around 9 pm . I know we all have a long day and we will be very tired and we want to end it right with good meal for dinner and this what I got that day was very very disappointed after this, how can someone be this arrogant do you think after all this the food tasted good absolutely a big NO the food was not good either, it was not what a customer expects. Please change your staff or arrogance and on top of that pushing everything on manager when they can solve it and that it's not good thing to say that instead of serving right and being sorry. Read moreGami chicken is a popular Korean fried chicken (and beer) place in Melbourne, and I was excited to find it had opened in Perth! Service was actually extremely friendly (and funny) on both occasions I came to the new store. On my Friday night visit, we asked for a table for 11 when the place was really busy (they don't take bookings), and expected to be turned away, but he took a look around, took a deep breath, and was like "yep give me 10mins, I can make it happen". Overall though, they definitely seem to be having beginners troubles at this new store, and I hope they work through these issues or the Perth locals won't come back, and that'll be game over for Gami in Perth. On my weekday lunch visit, waiting times were really long, not good for workers on their break. They seemed to also be having supply chain troubles, with no pickled radish side dish on the Friday night, apparently being in WA isn't easy..! One other thing I noticed was how "westernised" the store had become. No chopsticks at the table! Maybe you just need to ask for them, not sure.. The food is cheap and tasty, nothing fancy, it's a good spot to eat...
Read moreThis is a hard review to write, as the food was nice but the service was terrible from front of house. We were met by a employee who told our group of 7 that there would be a long wait of 20-30 minutes for food, which we were fine with. We had to fight to get our order in due to being ignored for other priorities such as clearing tables... I nearly had my food poured all over me when the employee served our food and had to dodge the sticky sauce or I would have been as coated as the chicken. The cook however at one point came out and let us know that the spicy chicken would take a while longer than the rest and his demeanor and service was wonderful and put the front of house to shame. The food itself was great, large portions and tasted beautiful, we had 3 full boneless chickens each coated in a different sauce with a variety of sides.. warning the spicy...
