As an Italian who frequently indulges in authentic Italian cuisine back in Italy, I can confidently attest that this restaurant is Perth's finest and most genuine Italian culinary experience.
From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was embraced with warm, authentic Italian hospitality. The service was impeccable, with the staff demonstrating a deep knowledge of both the menu and wine selection. They were more than willing to guide me through the offerings, making recommendations that perfectly complemented the dishes I chose.
Speaking of the food, every bite was a taste of Italy. The flavors transported me back to the bustling streets of Rome and the charming countryside of Tuscany. Each dish was crafted with precision and passion, using only the finest ingredients to ensure an authentic experience. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauces were rich and full of flavor, just like Nonna used to make.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to maintaining an authentic Italian experience. The ambiance, the decor, and even the background music contributed to the feeling of being in Italy. It's evident that the owners have poured their hearts into creating a genuine Italian dining oasis right here in Perth.
Whether you're a seasoned Italian food connoisseur or simply looking to explore the wonders of Italian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. It's a place where you can savor the soulful essence of Italy without leaving the city.
In conclusion, this Italian gem in Perth has won my heart and taste buds. With its exemplary service, exceptional wine selection, and remarkable dishes, it has rightfully earned its reputation as the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in the city. Read moreStampa is one of those restaurants that gets everything right—from the food to the atmosphere and service. I had high expectations going in, and they exceeded them in every way. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. Warm lighting, stylish décor, and a lively yet relaxed energy make it ideal for both date nights and casual dinners with friends. The service was impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff knew the menu inside and out, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. It’s rare to find service that feels this effortless yet refined. Then came the food, and it did not disappoint. The gnocchi was soft, pillowy, and perfectly balanced in flavor—rich but not overwhelming. But the true highlight was the steak—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I prefer a leaner cut, but I still want that buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and this steak delivered flawlessly. Tender, juicy, and packed with deep flavor, it was perfection on a plate. Everything about the meal felt thoughtfully crafted, from the quality of ingredients to the beautiful presentation. Stampa clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows. By the end of the night, I was already planning my next visit. If you’re in Perth and looking for top-tier dining, incredible steak, and impeccable service, Stampa is...

Agree with other reviews that the venue is a bit hard to find, unsigned on the other side of the bar from the entrance.
The venue being exposed to the bar is not ideal, the atmosphere was a bit weird. Could benefit from some partial screening/panelling to separate it a bit from the rest of the bar. Since it is a step above a normal restaurant price-wise, it would make sense to do this and work on creating a separate unique space for the restaurant, Just my 2c.
Got 2 pastas and they were good, but probably not worth the price. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in Perth offering fresh housemade pasta of similar quality for $25-32. I expected the food to be a step above a standard good Italian place, but it wasn’t.
Along with the off vibe of the restaurant, our waiter forgot about us toward the end of the night, for nearly 30 minutes after finishing our mains we were not seen for drinks/asked about dessert/asked about the bill, despite our attempts to stare down the waiter after a while. Rarely get that in Perth, especially on a Thursday with the restaurant being around 1/3. Ended up walking up to the front to ask to pay, and got dessert elsewhere.
Might have caught the venue/staff on an off night? But couldn’t recommend the place based on...
