Domino's Pizza Sydney Olympic Park — Restaurant in Sydney

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They always have massive delays and tried to give me someone else's order. Last year 2 hours delay for pizzas. This year 1.5 hours delay. Avoid this store.

My partner and I ordered three pizzas and 2 garlic breads and 2 drinks at 7:30PM. The order was listed to arrive at 8:25pm. I rang soon after that and I was informed that my order had not even started to be made yet. The manager had no idea when my order would be made. She explained that they had not assigned a driver yet. She did not offer a reasonable explanation or apologise for this delay. I then asked for this order to be picked up instead. I drove to pick up the order myself. She agreed for this. I asked if it was reasonable to ask for a partial refund due to this. She declined as she said it was already heavily discounted. She explained the delays were due to COVID-19. I explained that I understood this but I could not understand why the store would not call me to apologise for the delay or give me an ETA. She did not have answer for this and replied that they normally do call customers in cases like this. She then gave me another customer's order by mistake. I ended up driving and picking up my own order due to the gross incompetence of the store. We got the pizza over 1.5 hours after we ordered. This is frankly unacceptable. The manager did not apologise, did not offer anything at all. This is the second time I have had orders 1.5 hours late. We ordered at 7:30pm and we ate pizza after 9pm. I order pizzas regularly whether it's from Dominos or from another place. I've been ordering from this place for a while and I don't know if it's their policy but the size got smaller and the quality also diminished. (Using less ingredients) But I never complained as I thought that's just corporate greed like every other place. But today is when I will never order from Dominos ever again. I literally live 5 minute from this place but I still order delivery because I'm lazy. 45 minutes after ordering 2 pizzas, the tracker says the order's been completed and I got nothing. I call up the place and they say their delivery driver delivered the pizza to a wrong place and they were fixing it up. ZERO apology, ZERO compensation, ZERO explanation of when it'll get here and after 15 minutes the pizza is still not arrived. I call the place and cancelled. They are saying the refund is going to take 3 business days.

The staff I called does not give two shats they wasted an hour of my time waiting for this. If this is how a business handles their own fuk ups, then no customer should order from this place.

EDIT: They responded to the rant I wrote for the feedback of their order. Offered me "free" side menu voucher with a condition that I order more than $22. What a joke. I placed this order online at 10:00am (thereabouts) for a 12:45pm delivery. At 1pm I called the store because it still had not been delivered and the tracker was saying a 1:12pm delivery. After calling the store they advised me that they are running behind schedule and short on drivers and that it will be another 20mins before delivery will happen. 1:30pm and the order still has not been delivered (the the delivery address is 10mins away from the store by car). I try calling the store to find out where the driver is with no answer. I check back on the tracker and it says he's 10mins away from delivering the order and the time is now 1:40pm. 1:55pm I get a call that the driver had arrived. As it was a place of business he didn't even know what door to meet at (front or warehouse door and kept moving around) finally at 2pm the food is handed over. How is it that an order placed well in advance gets delivered 1hr and 15mins after the time it was asked to be delivered. Shame on you Domino's Newington.
