I used to attend this restaurant on a regular basis after work (at least once a week) as their seafood is incredibly fresh and the dishes are very well prepared. But on one particular evening of visiting, I was really put off by terrible service. At the time, I was the only customer in the restaurant. The wait staff and sushi chefs were in the main part of the restaurant when one of them looked toward me, said something, and then the other laughed. The discussion became louder to include the rest of the staff at which point they all laughed. The discussion continued for almost my entire time of dining there. Now, I have no evidence that they were talking about me - but that’s how it felt. And, irrespective of whether they were talking about me or not, it made for an EXTREMELY uncomfortable and upsetting experience to be a paying, and regular, customer surrounded by staff who were all speaking loudly, laughing, and occasionally looking at me. Having had a conversation with a few of the staff members in the past and being a friendly person who enjoys saying hello, this experience had a really negative impact on me. It was horrible, and I left the restaurant quite upset. I love the food here, but I could not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. I will...

Food was delicious. Limited menu though.

Biggest issue was their QR ordering system. I ordered my choices and friends on the same table did as well. I ordered my food first, but got served several minutes after them. I’m not being unreasonable because I asked the waitress where the order was at, she implied that I didn’t make the order. After another 5 minutes, I got the majority of the order but they still forgot one dish. I wanted a particular item because of the way it looked on the menu images, but it was completely different. I waited 40mins for what I thought was pork steamed buns but was pork dumplings. Again the waitress challenged me by saying they were dumplings like I ordered. But when I said the image is completely different to what she is serving me she had no answer.

After that I told her to take it back to the kitchen and not worry. She did offer a refund for them, but I’m just not going to go back.

Even more so was that at the time I ordered it wasn’t overly busy as well. So I fail to see where the order got lost.

Like I mentioned, the taste and freshness of the food was great, but the level of service experience was well below par.

The decor is dated and dusty. Bottles up on shelves are definitely in a need of...

It was a bit disappointed experience. We came as there were bunch of photos on Google review showed they had sushi train, few of them came from the owner. Suprisingly, they didn't have it anymore. It was ended 2 years ago, but no notifications and no updated photos. We could not know after 2 years they had changed their services. Then we ordered a platter, once again we were rejected as the platter had to be ordered 1 day in advance. That made sense but not efficient. We requested to order directly instead of using their QR code, as I saw a google review said their QR code was not easy to use. The staff was not happy. Literally, only 2 of us as the customers at that time, I couldn't understand why table service at that time would be an issue. Then we ordered a bento, we would like to swap coke or water to hot tea and happy to pay extra 50c, but again we were rejected, as "it is included and cannot be swapped". If that's their policy, we respect, but honestly it's not flexible and it made us disappointed. The ramen and bento were super avarage. Nothing to highlight. Unfortunately, cannot recommend this store. Parking nearby charged $7...

I Ordered 1. Chicken Karage "Bento", 2. Tuna Nigiri and Kingfish Nigiri. The Sushi was OK. "Chicken Karage" was woeful, and by that I mean completely inedible. It was pre-battered frozen chicken bits (analgous to the Chicken bits you'd expect from a cheap chinese restaurant in the 1970's dishing up Honey Chicken). Then it's liberally doused in Sweet & Sour Sauce and a bit of mayo, ....the only thing edible on the plate was the overly dressed salad. I had to take it back a request my money back, to which they offered to refund half. Eventually they refunded the food in full after being made to feel I was unreasonable in my request. If you like fresh hot food try elsewhere. Perhaps the 2020 reduction in patronage has lead to them taking shortcuts. If you compare what I was served to photos taken a year ago of the same meal you'll see the difference. It was gross!! Wouldn't feed it to me dog.
