One of the worst food i ever had in my life at Nepalese restaurant. Firstly the staff were not in good behaviour. As soon as we sit, they want the order by mentioning that chef will be angry if its late. Well in Dine in restaurant, you should mention us closing time at door, not after we sit on a table and we didn’t get 1 min also to look at the menu. Secondly, we order 9 individual dishes where 1 is missing till the end of all other 8 people finished up. We order Thali set which is one of the common and famous dish in Nepalese community. Some of them are Dhindo with goat and some are rice with chicken. I just want to say that Dhindo is the only one item that was fresh and good. There was just 3 types of pickle where tomato pickle was off long time ago. You can smell it off from far. No vegetable at all And only few leaf of salad, 1 lemon wages, and 1 slice of carrot and 1 prawn. How can someone call it Thali set? The goat curry was only water and meat, no spices and no taste. Whereas, We like the momo and chicken curry. But overall we didn’t finished the food and nobody care either we like or dislike the food also. Never going to place like that again. They open such a big business in one of the big city, and they are not looking after the quality and good service. Imagine the foreigners visit such place and they had such quality food, they can barely imagine how the quality of food back in Nepal. That’s Just the bad review about our food which is one of the best...

We visited Namaste in Town Hall on the 9th of June around 10 p.m. during Vivid Sydney. We ordered two things: the Namaste Platter for my boyfriend and the Vegetarian Chowmein for me because I’m vegetarian. The Namaste Platter arrived in 20-25 minutes. However, my Veg Chowmein never arrived. Despite trying to get the staff’s attention multiple times, they were overwhelmed with the number of customers.

After an hour, one of the staff members finally approached and realized our Chowmein had not arrived. We decided to cancel the order because of the long wait. When we went to the counter, both the waitress and the staff member from the Chatpate counter were genuinely sorry and offered us complimentary Chatpate to apologize. Initially, we declined, but they sincerely insisted, showing genuine concern and kindness. Their dedication and efforts were truly commendable.

Unfortunately, we felt ignored by one of the staff members, who might have been the manager or the owner, as he was very busy talking to other customers. Despite making a few eye contacts with us, he wasn’t helpful at all, which was disappointing.

We will return to Namaste solely because of the exceptional service from these two dedicated staff members. Their hard work and kindness made a significant difference in our experience.

Thank you for the complimentary Chatpate and for your...

I had listen good feedback about namaste which is located in townhall but I didn’t meet and feel what I expected like Strathfield and Ashfield. We order momo steam, buff chowemin , and chatpat but buff chowemin was worst there smell like burning and too much salt. We requested them to make little bit spicy and oil free before they take order but they didn’t make it. And we requested them to bring chop chilly but after a long time that one lady bring whole chilly without chops and kept in table without saying anything which we feel disrespect and no hospitality manner yet all. For the picture you can have a look. When we went to FO to pay for the bill I asked with one lady how to give feedback about service but she also look like nervous and confused. Anyway Rest of the food is so so 🙄🙄 comparison to Strathfield and Ashfield . There we can feel perfect hospitality vibe which is out of 10/10. I don’t know it’s good or bad but from my point of view and being as I belong to hospitality background first you have to check the guest satisfaction so that you will run operation smoothly, I saw there is lack of proper floor managing system also. Thank you and I hope you will take my point in a...

I visited Namaste restaurant with some colleagues during lunchtime a couple of weeks ago. The veg thali and pangra set were tasty and reminded me of eating a meal/set in Nepal. My friend noted that the chowmein was ok but not particularly flavourful. Although we visited at lunchtime, the restaurant was not busy (there were only 3 small groups when we arrived and 4 when we left). Unfortunately the service we received was mediocre as staff weren't particularly attentive. For example, we had to request water multiple times and flag them down to place our order almost 15min after sitting down. The vibe of the restaurant was not bad. I really liked the initial water jug and cups. It would have been nice for additional water to be poured into those same jugs! All in all, not a bad restaurant. It could be great with some small tweaks!

Charming place near Gadigal in the city, infused with wonderful food and drink choices. They have lot of seating options, indoor and outdoor, who take walk-ins as well. One of our friend had recommended it, and we certainly found it to be worth it. We tried two kinds of vegetarian momos, steamed and the chilli one. We were also suggested to have the Nepalese Everest beer which paired well with the momos. The steamed one although a little bland, was well cooked and tasted good dipped in the accompanying sour sauce. Chilli momos was deep fried, coated in chilli sauce had a great punch and is a must try if you can handle the heat. Lot of customers seemed to enjoy the Jhol momos as well, probably for the next visit. They seemed to have an excellent drinks menu, and is quite reasonably priced for a good restaurant in the city.
