Just don't go here. I've been to a few Nandos and this one just lives to disappoint. I placed the order at 6:02pm and it was supposed to be ready at 6:22pm. It was 1/2 chicken (got that part right), Large Peri Peri Chips (given regular and plain with no peri peri flavouring) and 2 tenders (non-existent). Instead of the 2 tenders, I got some pita thing with bacon and I don't eat BACON. So that's just the meal. The inability to check an order before you pack it is shocking and let me tell you why. They did not call out order #84 which I was. They instead made the bag and left it there for another 15minutes without bothering to call out. My friend went to check and she was told "it's not ready" despite us seeing the bags there.
About 6:38pm I'm getting annoyed. I walk up to the counter and am actively ignored by the girl working there to talk to the Uber driver who just walked in because that is more important than the customers in front of you. Regardless I asked her about the order and she's like "it's been ready all this time" and I'm like wow. Shocking. Didn't hear you call it. And her reply? "I called it a long time ago." And I said "my friend came to ask" and she's like "no one came and asked" to which I pointed out my friend and her response? "Wasn't about this." WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE. Her dismissive tone and attitude needs to be checked. You can't just hire anyone and expect them to have "customer service skills". It's a trained skill. We got our food and I could not wait to leave. Just rude service altogether. I am not going back. So many other Nando's and I'd rather eat somewhere where the customer is treated appropriately. I get home to find the wrong food as stated above but I just cannot be bothered going and arguing about this. CLEARLY management is poor at this place because there were so many orders being stacked up to serve and bagged however no one was doing it. Until a customer walks up and asks for food, then they serve it.
Long story short, if you want Nando's...
Read moreWhere should I start from . I went to Nandos Paramatta with a lot of expectation. Personally started going to Nandos in South Africa since 2001. Have been to several other Nandos in the middle East etc . We took the dine in option . We were told that we have to scan a QR code to place the order . All good till now . Just before we placed the order maybe 10-15 mins since we arrived we were told that they don't have full chicken and we have order something else . I just laughed at the poor staff delivering the message . How bad can a restaurant be managed when the main items are not available. It was during the Easter break of 2022 so not sure if someone forgot to order whole chicken for the restaurant that focuses on grilled chicken. As we had travelled 10 Kms to get there decided to order something to get the Nandos fix instead of finding another joint . The wrap was leaning on the side of slapped together as the photo shows the cheese did not even melt . I didn't want to take a photo as it was not anything good to shout about but decided that maybe whoever owns the place needs to have a hard look on what goes around . Don't think I need another Nandos fix anytime soon as I will be buying the sause from Coles and making the same . The only points are for the staff who delivered the message good or bad and...
Read moreOur family decided to have dinner here on Sunday night. The shop had alot of people inside eating and obviously not wearing masks. When we got to the counter the 2 ladies who were working that night asked us to please put masks on. Its been awhile since we've eaten out so we didn't know we needed one while we wait for our seats. I had a mask with me and asked my family to wait outside while I ordered. My partner stayed with me as he has an exemption. The lady with pink and blue hair said she wanted to see it. Once it was sighted the 2 ladies just stood there for awhile, I then asked them - will someone be serving us? The lady then said to us "I don't feel comfortable service you, I don't want to catch COVID again". Is there anything wrong with this statement? No, but being in customer service she could have had a private chat with another staff member so that we could have been served by someone else. Then they said we were not allowed to sit inside and had to be seated outside. I normally wouldn't have a problem with this but everyone inside was MASKLESS! So why would we have to sit outside and be excluded because we didn't wear a mask while we were waiting to be seated? My partner thinks we were discriminated based on our appearance, I like to thinks she was just rude. Wont be...
