As a review this place has atrocious customer service. We booked our engagement party in the āprivate function roomā which holds 100 people. The room was filthy on arrival and we had to wipe the tables down ourselves. We had 90 guests and they couldnāt fit in the room. When they spilled out into the public area they kept getting told to move as they were taking up space of other guests. The so called private room was not private and when we asked for the music down for speeches they refused multiple times. Then the air conditioning kept getting turned off by staff and each time we asked to have it turned on within minutes itād be turned back off. Eventually staff refused to turn it on and the guests were left to cook. Food?? Donāt waste your money $730 worth of food and it looked like $150 worth. Guests were ordering their own meals. When we booked the room we booked it āŖuntil 1030PM⬠and were told it was kid friendly to a point they even left toys out for the kids to play with. Come āŖ9.50PM⬠an arrogant, egotistical and power hungry security guard threw his weight around demanding a mother with a 4 month old breastfed baby leave the private function. When we asked to speak to a manager he refused then proceeded to kick us out because we called him out on bad behaviour. The way our guests were treated by staff was absolutely disgusting. Every guest we had attend have all commented on how poorly we were treated by staff. If we had known the so called āprivate roomā isnāt private and the venue not accommodating we would not have had the party there. When this was bought up in an official complaint it was dismissed by management, turned around to be all our fault and then when we try and come to a resolution they refused to reply to emails. The food itself comes out quite quick, but we found ourselves waiting to get their attention every time we needed something. Took nearly 30 minutes to order our food after getting drinks. Then no one came to clear our plates for over 40 minutes after eating. We had to ask to get someone to clear our plates & it still took another 10 minutes, with one staff member coming to get one plate and then didnāt come back. No one was coming over to check in on drinks, we got told itās table service whenever we tried to get a drink at the bar, yet no server was coming over, we had to get their attention and ask for someone to come over every time. Ordered coffees & finally someone finished clearing our plates after they dropped the coffees off. I also looked around and saw the same thing was happening with other tables. A couple next to us had dirty empty plates on their table for over an hour with no one coming over. We saw a lot of the servers avoiding eye contact with customers and talking amongst themselves. They were all nice enough, but just lacked professionalism. I too am in the hospitality industry, so I understand some days arenāt the best & things can slip, but it was enough that my whole family was a little confused at the lack of service and a bit frustrated. Although it did begin to get busy, it was not busy at the start of our lunch, so did not know why it was taking so long for someone to come over to us. There did not seem to be efficient and running sections & it was very disappointing. I donāt believe I will book there again in the future, neither will my family unfortunately. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food and vibe was good but before seating we told waitress took ferry from docklands and there's 15% promo, and she said we can sit anywhere, after we sat down, after entrees & drinks arrived and just before we started eating mains which had arrived we were asked to move because that section had function starting that arvo, so we had to move all the things from table to another one , later when we were at the counter ready to pay, we realised that we paid for/ charged the full price + surcharge , So we didn't even end up getting the ferry discount promo
After having to move when told to sit anywhere and not notified in advance that area have function in 30 mins, and as we already said that we came from ferry before seating so we have ferry discount but weren't asked about it when paying was disappointing, esp after we had to wait over 20 mins for mains
It shouldn't only be up to the customer to remember mention ferry discount again at register,
also when waitress asked us after we finished food & drinks if anything else we said no and rdy to pay and she just say ok and left, we weren't directed to where to go to pay and there wasn't an obvious register area, so we aimlessly walked around bar area and had to ask staff neerby where to pay .
Pretty disappointed bcoz why offer promo if don't even honour it
It's one thing if we totally forgot and didn't mention the promo at all, but we did mention it so staff should have noted that already
Also, don't seat people if you're going to ask them to move when more of their food and drinks still on the way
