I’d really give it ZERO star if I could , worst Thai food experience , the Service was so rude ! I stated to order masaman beef the waiter was in-patience states ‘u have to order rice separately, one rice isn’t big enough for you two to share !’, me and my friend was in shock, my friend hasn’t even start to order his dish yet but we’ve been told that we have to order two separate steamed rice… The taste of dish was shockingly strange , I highly not recommend this restaurant, my masaman beef was tastes literally like sugar syrup! Sickly sweet and no curry taste at all, watery surgery and the beef was thin sliced and tough , for god sake I’ve been to Thai restaurants I know what masaman beef supposed to be , it should be slow cooked trunk beef tender rather than thin slice , I truly believe they used leftovers beef from what they prepared for stir fry dishes, my friend ordered red curry chicken , taste weirdly strange too! Too much of aniseed flavor non curry flavor, we have been forced to order two $4 steamed rice but only one bowl of rice delivered? After I’ve complained about the strange flavor about my curry, I’ve been thinking told this is Thai style and been given two bottle pepper and salt to suit myself… After we finished and waiting to pay at the counter, waiter shut at us saying just a sec , sounds like we are not going to pay ? After all , ridiculous experience WARNING ⚠️ all geelong residents this place is dangerous do not waste your time and money in restaurants like this ,obviously their reviews here are seems strange I don’t believe anyone would give 5 stars but it mixed up with zero star and five stars very strange !highly NOT...
Read moreAbsolutely the foulest and most disgusting service by the sad old man who works there. We walked in and asked the server for a table of two and she proceeded to sit us down at a table outside. After about 10 minutes of waiting to have our order taken (there were only two other parties at this restaurant who all had their food), we realised that maybe this is the type of restaurant where you walk up and order at the counter, so I tried to do so. The waiter at the counter guided me to stand behind another man ordering and again I did so. Once it was my turn the waiter told the man I was ready to order and he replied "well she can wait like everyone else" (no one else was waiting) he then asked me if I was ordering take away and I said I was at a table. "Well I didn't sit you at a table so why are you having a seat at my tables" "are you the couple that just decided to have a seat and then leave before?" "go have a seat and wait till I get to your table". We were definitely not that couple but I expect they received the exact same service as we did and decided to leave.
After being treated so poorly we decided to go for a walk and have a fabulous meal at the 20 other restaurants that are available in the area so implore anyone else trying to find a place to eat at the waterfront the options are endless and the service is much better...

Service took about an hour (I think they might be understaffed at the moment) , and the food portions were much smaller than expected for the high prices.
I don't mind waiting, but the food should be worth it. The penang curry chicken was overcooked, and had approximately 7 pieces of chicken. These chicken pieces might tally to 1 and a half pieces of a chicken's thigh meat, or less.
The garlic and pepper sauce with beef was 85% vegetables and 15% beef - and that's generous.
The mixed entree was $12. The spring roll had no meat, just noodles(?) and carrot. The satay was nice, but the only thing that gave the rest of the entree flavour was the watered down sweet chilli sauce.
The traditional fried rice was nice, but the portioning was about 2 bowls of their small steamed jasmine rice, or slightly less than 2.
The Pad Thai was alright.
The Coke costed $4 for a can of 250ml.
But hey, at least the water was free!
If you're happy to wait about an hour to be underwhelmed by pricey food, this place is...
