Patriots Sports Bar — Restaurant in Western Australia

On a quiet night ( our visit was from from 7pm )and I mean, 6-12 customers in the bar ( Zac was the 'Bar manager' )( CHECK THE CAMERAS!!!! ), 22/Nov/2021 we saw table in the window not be cleared for about 2 hours, the milk crate lived on the bar, on the surface towards the front door...we saw a man, walk in, wait to be served and walk out again thirsty. A guy bought a Corona and got no lemon/lime in it AND that guy was instructed by the 'bar tender' to get off his stool, come to the other surface of the bar to use the Eftpos machine when it was clearly a corded machine...just terrible service...but don't worry the 'bar tender' made sure she was not thirsty...CHECK THE CAMERAS...disgusting. The best part was when we left I complimented the cook on the food and got a hearty goodbye from the bouncer who was pleasant...it was painful watching the employees of the venue. I ran bars in my younger days and I have fired people for pretty much what I saw...just...

Was out with a group of friends for a 47th birthday and tried to enter here around 9.30ish but the Security at the door refused us entry as one of the group only had photo ID on on his phone. He had passport and drivers licence with a photo but the security guy was extremely rude and arrogant and denied entry. Clearly we were all in our 40’s. We walked into Universal next door without question, no ID required. We were clearly a middle aged group of friends of good standing. We ended spending around $1000 at Universal. Patriots owner or manager, you may want to better train your security with some type of customer service skills and not employ security staff that are on ego trips. There was about 10 in our group, mixed male and female, inclusive of Private school teachers, a City Councillor etc. Would never try to visit this venue again. Appalled by the security on the door on this evening. Friday...

I have been to every UFC PPV at the patriots bar all year. For some random reason the for UFC 318 the tv’s were changed mid fight card, to women’s rugby and afl, when everyone in the bar was here for the ufc. I was sitting at the back and could do see the people in front of me complain but they were not listening to them. Managers and staff refused to change it even though everyone who was paying customers requested to make it ufc. In the end the spectacle about watching the ufc at patriots was having a full bar of ufc tvs and everyone getting around it. I don’t usually pay for the VIP package but I am less inclined to do so now. New management has truly affected the whole feeling and a major letdown that management and staff wouldn’t even listen to the paying customers who are there...
