Restaurant Name: Dean & David
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently dined at Dean & david , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that set the perfect tone for the afternoon.
Ambiance: The restaurant has a cozy yet sophisticated vibe, ideal for both casual dinners and special occasions. The seating is comfortable, and there is enough space between tables to ensure privacy without feeling isolated with a best music.
Service: The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure that every need was met without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions based on our preferences. The timing of each course was impeccable, allowing us to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed.
Food: Now, let’s talk about the food! Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The menu offers a fantastic selection, with options for every palate. I highly recommend the falafel bowl – it was bursting with freshness and expertly balanced in taste. The portions were generous, and the ingredients were clearly high-quality. I also loved the creative twists on classic dishes, making for a unique and memorable dining experience.
Drinks/Desserts: One of the best coffee I must have had - latte macchiato For dessert, the brownie was the perfect way to end the meal – not too sweet, but rich and indulgent.
Overall: Dean&david exceeded my expectations in every way. From the warm ambiance to the excellent service and delicious food, this is a place I will return to again and again. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or celebrating a special occasion, this restaurant is...
Read moreTerrible service from the guy at the cashout (trim dark hair).
Ordered a coffee, on the receipt it says you are served by X. Last time they brought it to me. After 15-20 min went to the front, and found out it's been standing there. No apology, just said it's self service (which is not at all clear, especially if they do different things on different days or to different customers).
Tried it and it had milk. I ordered it w milk alternative. He said you didn't say that. Again no apology and blaming the customer, which is bad service. He offered to make me a new one before that, which is nice.
However again after waiting and bad vibes I went again to the front, found out they didn't make it yet. I didn't want it anymore, at first the guy didn't want to let me leave w it (said he's making it w milk alternative, that bc of that it's even a more expensive one - what will he do, trap me to stay?). I said no and then he asked the other guy and he must've agreed to a return bc he opened up the cash register.
He gave me however the wrong amount back, I had to ask again for my money and ppl were there waiting. It was exasperating.
Overall just bad service from him. Yes it's busy and chaotic, but you could at least apologize for inconveniencing people and be polite to them. Instead of just treating customers like they're without any...
Read moreHorrible service, avoid this place! I stopped by with my mother and was looking at the menu while she went to the bathroom. The menu looked good and I called my husband to come meet us there since they had vegetarian options for him. The person behind the counter told me I had to pay for the restroom if I am not ordering. I told him I was waiting for my mother to see what we want to order. He kept telling me I had to pay. At this point he was so rude and insistent that I was taken aback and I didn’t want to eat there anymore. I asked how much I had to pay, he said 50cents. I handed 1 euro and his colleague just grabbed it and didn’t give me any change. It’s obviously not about the 1 euro but because of their rude approach and 50cents we ended up not eating there. There are so many great restaurants in close vicinity that will...
