Perfect if you're looking for a change of pace while traveling. Flavors approximate Vietnamese cuisine, for example I don't think they use fish sauce in cooking or at least I couldn't detect any. I didn't think the portions were that large as other reviews noted, at least not the sizes that I am used to coming from Toronto.

If they are busy, go to the counter inside the restaurant, get a menu, find an empty table and figure out what you want. Go back to the counter and let the servers know your order. If they are busy be prepared to politely help yourself to drinks, menus, seats, cutlery from a counter, etc. Workers are focused on pumping out the food. When you're done eating don't hesitate to go to the counter to settle the bill. I've encountered this sort of situation in other Vietnamese restaurants around the world. If you must have table service you maybe out of luck if the place is busy. We expected a delay for our food once our order was placed but surprisingly it came in a...

I recently visited Dodo Vietnamese Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, each bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced spices.

I especially loved the pho, which was rich and comforting, and the spring rolls were incredibly fresh and crisp. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful.

Overall, Dodo Vietnamese Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming setting. I can’t wait to return and try...

At first we had a very good experience with this restaurant, but we have to change our mind in the second time there. On the first day in Salzburg we had dinner there. It's our first meal, the foods were tasty, the staff was nice and friendly. We get the food quite quick. So, on our last day in Salzburg we wanted to eat there again before our train. We arrived at the restaurant at 11.50 am, the restaurant was opened already. We ordered the food around 12.00 and then waited for 1 hour until we get the food!!! This is too long. We almost missed our train. So, only 2 stars for this restaurant. We won't come back...

Another Vietnamese restaurant worth considering and visiting while exploring the city of Salzburg. Fairly and reasonably priced, located in the heart of the city and with a great selection of Asian dishes. We decided to order red curry with shrimps and Pho soup with chicken. Both meals super fast served and delicious. Recommend to stop by and have a meal. Possible to pay with card. Abundant portions of food so rather come hungry. Cold Asian beers also available if preferred from local once. Highly recommend.

From Vietnamese’s perspective, the Pho here is like instant noodles with chicken added. And I have not ever seen fried onion (hành phi) in Pho until I had meal here. The portion is in size S fyi, so we had to order 3 dishes for 2 instead of 2. The picture shows they have chicken’s skin with Pho but actually it does not. The curry is acceptable but a little bit salty. In conclusion, the food would be acceptable if it’s just for hosting friends at home, not for opening a restaurant :)
