It is still a bit of a secret, but this is truly one of the best terraces in Salzburg not only because of its location, but because the food and service is honestly just perfect. The waiters are really well trained, and you noticed that on how quick their service is and how willing and able they are on making accommodations for your specific needs. On top of that they are always dressed in traditional Austrian attire, which makes it an even more authentic experience. The restaurant is part of a luxury hotel, and you can tell because the chef knows what he’s doing. Even the most traditional and simple meals are draped onto the plates like art. Small portion, overfried and STINCKY. We tasted it and it was sour. Even the waiter agreed with us on the smell and the serving. We returned the dishes. And got a surprising respond. The restaurant's manager found it completly OK and good quality. Overall this experience was way not up to the standards of Goldener Hirsch / Herzl as we usud to know it for many years.
I wish I took a picture before they took it away to share...

On the wall you can see many celebrity photos.
I went alone in for a dinner but had no problem to get a place. Service was friendly even it...
