Biergart'l im Stadtpark — Restaurant in Vienna

I have American Express, at the entrance of this restaurant there was a sign that they accept it, so, I went in. Ordered a Coca-Cola for a drink - they brought an open bottle of Pepsi - I am sorry, but it’s not the same! But ok, that could pass. I ordered a main and a side salad. They brought the main and did not bring the side salat until I finished my main (like 30 min after). I rejected it. In the end when I tried to pay - turns out they DO NOT accept American Express. But the most humiliating was that when I told the waiter that there is a sign at the entrance that they do accept it - he got angry and said “show me”. And we seriously went to the entrance to prove that the sign is there. The waiter gor even more angry and said - “ok we can try it buy it won’t work”. And it did not, so, I had to pay in an inconvenient way for myself. This was ridiculous, I payed for being humiliated like that. So, summary for the owners of this so-called “restaurant”: (1) Pepsi is not Coca-Cola; (2) bad waiters should be trained how to deal with customers without publicly humiliating them, also they must know the basics of serving food, like that side salad is not served after meal for desert; 3) showing at the main entrance inexistent methods of payment entrance is a scam! I hope that actions...

I am giving one star just because otherwise I can't post a review. This is probably the worst beer garden experience I've had in my life.

In summary: The food takes way too much time and the waiters act very rude, as if they were doing you a favour; I don't expect anyone to bow to my desires, but at least treat me like an equal... but no, here they are actively hostile towards you: they ignore you, rush you, interrupt you and even gaslight you.

I have been to places where the staff seemed too overwhelmed with the guests that the service is poor, but in this case you could tell this was not the case, it all seemed on purpose.

Even at the end I had to stand in front of the waiter to tell him that if he wanted to get paid he had to give us the check right now, we had another activity planned and couldn't spend more time waiting for them.

Last week my family and I came for dinner. The server seem to be bothered by the fact that she had to wait on our table right from the beginning, like we were incidental. It was not warm and friendly. When we left my older mother-in-law tripped up, which nearly made her fall down the stairs. There was a difference of about 3 cm from the stone Terrace floor to the rocks that edged along the building. If it wasn't for my brother-in-law standing there, she would've fallen down the stairs. When the owner came over, he said that he was going to call the police because we destroyed his plants. There was no I am sorry are you OK? Please let me cover your bill. It was immediately her fault. Would not recommend this...
