Lamée Rooftop — Restaurant in Vienna

I had the pleasure of visiting Lamee Rooftop in Vienna last year Aug 2021, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment I stepped onto the rooftop, I was captivated by the stunning views and the trendy atmosphere.

The highlight of Lamee Rooftop is undoubtedly the panoramic view it offers. Perched on top of the Lamee Hotel where I stayed, the rooftop provides an unparalleled vantage point to admire the magnificent skyline of Vienna. Whether it's the majestic St. Stephen's Cathedral, the historic architecture of the city center, or the rolling hills in the distance, the view is simply breathtaking.

The ambience at Lamee Rooftop is chic and sophisticated. The sleek and modern decor, coupled with comfortable seating options, creates an inviting and stylish atmosphere. The rooftop bar is well-designed, with ample space for guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The service at Lamee Rooftop was excellent. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist since I had a voucher to use during my stay. They were quick to recommend drinks and their friendly demeanor added to the enjoyable atmosphere.

While the weather can be unpredictable, Lamee Rooftop does its best to accommodate guests regardless of the conditions. In case of rain or inclement weather, there are covered areas or indoor sections available, allowing visitors to still appreciate the view while staying comfortable.

In terms of value, Lamee Rooftop is on the higher end, but it is justified by the overall experience. The combination of breathtaking views, stylish ambience, delectable food and drinks, and attentive service makes it a worthwhile destination for a special occasion or a memorable night out in Vienna.

Overall, I highly recommend Lamee Rooftop to anyone visiting Vienna. It provides an enchanting setting to enjoy panoramic views of the city, coupled with excellent food, drinks, and service. When I went there, it rained so just make sure to check the weather forecast or have a backup plan in case Mother Nature...

If you are wondering what is worse than bad service, i can tell you - it's no service at all. Although having a reservation, the waiter at the entrance didn't even listen to that, and gave us a generic table without any view. After pointing out we do have a reservation, we could move to one of the tables with a view. And that's about it in terms of the interraction with the staff - we waited, and waited and waited some more. After 20 minutes of not even taking our order, we had enough and we left. What i did observe is that there was no service at other tables as well - people without their order taken, people with not cleaned up tables...it's a pity.

You need to book this place 3-4 weeks in advance, and then such a disappointment. My recommendation - just don't go - you can see similar great views from other rooftop bars, and get muuuuuch more attention and for sure a nice drink.

To the management - guys, this is a recurring issue in your reviews, both on google and on tripadvisor - why don't you change your waiting staff, add some people to manage the workload and make sure the turnaround of the tables is there? Can't be that hard to make your...

Avoid this rooftop bar at all costs! Really disappointed. I went to Lamée Rooftop yesterday with my mum to celebrate my birthday. She called in the morning to make a reservation and asked if they could prepare a small birthday gesture, like writing “Happy Birthday” next to a dessert. The staff on the phone said it was possible, maybe with an extra charge and we agreed.

When we arrived, my mum reminded them again. One waiter said it wasn’t possible. She asked another one, who brought the manager over. The manager said they couldn’t do candles but would definitely prepare “something small.” We stayed for over two hours, had two rounds of drinks and nothing ever came.

No birthday surprise, no follow-up, nothing. Terrible communication and service. We chose this place because they said yes on the phone. If they had just said no, we would’ve gone somewhere else. Not coming back. Not...
