🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If I could give this place 88 stars (one for each stroke in the character “Biang”), I would.
Let me set the scene. I was just a humble, mildly hungry traveler in Vienna, expecting schnitzels and sachertorte — and then BAM! Out of nowhere, like a noodle-wielding kung fu master, I stumbled upon this temple of hand-pulled transcendence.
The moment I walked in, I heard the slapping of dough against the counter — whap! whap! whap! — like an edible symphony. That was my first clue that something holy was about to go down.
Then came The Noodles. Not just noodles. No, no. These were thicc, luscious, chewy ribbons of joy, wide enough to be used as scarves in a fashion emergency. Each strand carried sauce like it had a PhD in flavor adhesion. The chili oil? Liquid lava from the heavens. The garlic? Bold enough to ruin my dating life for 48 hours but worth every second. My soul left my body. My taste buds sang the Chinese national anthem. I briefly considered proposing marriage to the chef.
I took one bite and made a sound I didn’t know I was capable of — something between a moan and a spiritual awakening. A nearby tourist looked over, concerned, but then they tried the noodles and they made the same sound. We nodded in mutual understanding. It was a moment.
Honestly, I don’t know what kind of noodle wizardry goes on back there — if there’s a grandmother with arms of steel hand-pulling each noodle with the strength of ancient dynasties, bless her. If there’s a deal with some culinary demon for maximum umami… I get it. Worth it.
Pro tips: • Get the spicy version. Pain is temporary. Glory is forever. • Don’t wear white. You will splash. That’s part of the experience. • Cancel your dinner plans. You won’t need them. You may never eat again.
Vienna, how dare you hide this gem among your baroque façades and schnitzel pride? This isn’t just food. It’s a full-blown noodle enlightenment. A Biang Biang baptism. A carb-driven coming-of-age story.
Go. Now. Tell them the noodle...

The restaurant is newly renovated and above the ceiling - they still remain the old original handpainted art from 18th Century .
The price is fair and reasonable . The food came in big portions . If you ordered the fried beef noodle , you can share among 2-3 persons.
The food tastes and quality is okay. It is catered more towards the European ‘s tastebud. We ordered Fried Beef Noodle 炒牛肉排面, Spicy Chicken 辣子鸡 and Spicy couple’s lung 夫妻肺片。
The fried beef noodle doesn’t have any “wok hei”. The tenderness of the noodle isn’t good - just flour.
The fried spicy chicken still have feather 🪶from the chicken stick on the fried chicken…. As a restaurant, they should clean all feather and make sure the eating experience is good. The portion is big and the chicken proportion is cut into big size too. It doesn’t have much Sichuan spicy taste. The best Fried Spicy Chicken is China Kitchen 川菜香。
The spicy chicken was too salty and we gave the feedback and they changed for us. Good service in this regards.
The food is okay. Price is reasonable . If you like to have nice ambience and good service , it would be okay.

Read moreWe discover this small dumpling outlet while walking from Karlsplatz to Stephansplatz. The large Chinese character of the stall name stands out, a small food outlet with a few tables inside and another few outside in open air. Craving for Asian food after few weeks stay in Europe… we gave Lao Lao Dumpling a try. The China Shaanxi cuisine which emphasizes on spices & dumpling from Lao Lao did not disappoint me at all. We order the Dan Dan noodle in minced pork, the minced pork was a bit salty but when it blend into the handmade noodle, the saltiness level reduced. I must said the hand made noodle was chewy and bouncy. And for Dumplings, we requested the soup base pork dumpling (instead of pure steam version). I must said the pork filling was very well marinated along with the chopped cabbages. A great lunch in Vienna. Due to the small real estate, there we just eat & go… taste of the food was ranked top while ambient was not taken into consideration, but overall i highly recommend this outlet for those who crave for Jiaozi (Chinese...
