! really disappointing experience !
We visited on November 30th, and by the next day, we were severely sick, likely due to food poisoning. However, this wasn’t the only issue we encountered.
Service: We communicated in English, as we recently moved here, and were met with condescension. One of the waiters asked if we were tourists, and when we explained that we weren’t and had been living here for a few months, he dismissively remarked, "And you still don’t speak German?" This attitude is completely unprofessional.
Once their manager (who ironically spoke English with them) left for the evening, the two younger waiters spent most of the time on their phones. They barely engaged with us and didn’t bother to check if everything was okay. When we tried to order drinks, they seemed reluctant to serve us, which was disappointing.
Interior: The space itself is beautiful, but small, which makes it extremely crowded and uncomfortable.
Food: The oysters were the biggest issue. I tried a variety (Gillardeau and others), while my partner only had the €1 oysters. Both of us experienced severe food poisoning. I noticed a metallic taste in the cheaper oysters but assumed it was just lower quality. Clearly, there was something wrong with them.
Overall, this was a frustrating and upsetting experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the poor service, lack of professionalism, and food...

Read moreWe recently visited this restaurant after being drawn in by the advertisement promising oysters for just 1 euro each. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
To start, the oysters were disappointingly small, far from the quality we had anticipated. The service was another low point. Upon arrival, we were seated in wet chairs, which was an uncomfortable beginning to our meal. We then had to wait an unreasonably long time to place our order. After finally getting the attention of the owner, who took our order, we were surprised when a different waiter approached us ten minutes later to ask if we had ordered—apparently, our order wasn’t even in the system.
Adding to the frustration, the owner seemed surprised by the modest size of our initial order, making us feel as though we hadn’t ordered enough. In reality, we simply wanted to taste the oysters before committing to more.
While the restaurant itself is nicely designed, the poor quality of the oysters and the disorganized, inattentive service made the experience a huge disappointment. This place may look appealing, but sadly, it doesn’t deliver...
