It’s one of those places that you don’t expect to find in a city like Vienna. I was a bit suspicious after seeing the name, but I made a reservation anyway. After first reservation we made 2 more on the 3 days we had left in Vienna 😅 I really enjoy the food, the ambience and the people working there. It may not look like it from outside, but it feels like home for anyone missing Japan. All the dishes are I would say : “comfort foods”, things that warm your soul. They have ramen, their signature dish, but also Japanese curry and tonkatsu or takoyaki. Their homemade melon pan is to die for ! I’m really going to miss this little restaurant and the friendly owner. It was a pleasure to share 3 diners at your place, I’m looking forward to see you again ❤️
Thank you !!!

Dear customer: Please make sure, out of respect, to reserve. It takes 3 seconds via Google. The manager will go above and beyond to accommodate you without a reservation ( in most of the cases), but I strongly recommend to...
Read moreThe Tonkotsu Ramen was good, I've been craving one for a while now! I also like that they gave us a jar of minced garlic in case we wanted some (and I definitely do 😉). The Gyoza were also especially good.
Unfortunately I can't give full 5 stars because frankly it's pretty expensive, especially the drinks (we eventually paid 50€ for two ppl). Every little change or extra is pretty expensive (1 nori for 1€?). You do get three slices of chashu but I am not really a fan of it so it didn't make it up to me. What esepcially bugged me was the way the tea was served: a very small pot with teabag inside, no timer or information about how long it's been steeping. And the teapot, albeit pretty, spilled half the content on the tray when pouring. I was also missing the little block to put down the chopsticks. I know, most lower end restaurants don't have that. But it would have been useful (I had to put mine on the tea tray) and I expected better from this one.
Would come again but not my...
Read moreI had the worst experience here. Food was okay. but how I was served was terrible. I went there to enjoy nice food in Vienna and I was so excited since there are many good reviews as well. However, I should have not visited there. when I finished my meal and asked my bill to pay, one female staff came. so I gave her 100 euro note. she asked me how much you want to pay for the tip even before she gave me my changes. She forced me to pay 10% tip. Okay I can pay but I think it's up to me. but here, paying tip is not up to you. She told me that 'are you guys tourist? you know what? you have to pay 10% tips here'
Please be advised that you have to tell them how much you want to pay for the tip BEFORE you get your changes back lol
Thank you for giving me nice experience. It was the first time in my life and i won't forget about it. Hope other tourists would be prepared before they visit this...
