We trotted 2km to come to this restaurant because of the reviews. The staff was very friendly and nice. All stars go to the staff. We got menus in German and asked for one of the two in English. Both of ours were replaced with English menus that rather than mimicking the German ones, resembled a Children’s book with more pictures than words. We opted for the Viennese menu for the 3 courses. I asked for the vegetable soup and got served a noodle soup. I pointed it out to the staff and I was told that’s all they have. The noodle soup was very salty and tasted as if it was made from a box. The salad looked straight from a salad box with two fresh slices of tomato on top to make it gourmet. The schnitzel was not bad, but less fluffy and the meat less tender than expected. The potatoes lacked any salt. All portions were very decent. I would def not eat here again nor recommend this. Again, the staff was very nice and...

If you like potato and apples, this place is a dream. We found this place by accident but were so glad. All of our food was great but the place had a really warm and friendly atmosphere. There's different varieties of apple juice avaliable that you can choose based on what type of flavour you prefer, we all had different ones and they were all great. They will offer it with water, if you're British or American you won't need the water as we have high sweetness tolerance, but for my Chinese friends this was great. I had pictured pork with peppercorn sauce on jacket potato. It felt like warm, hearty, home cooking. We also had the homemade crisps (chips for Americans), the pork and potato hot pan, and two schnitzels, all were great and I recommend them all. Finally, our server was incredible, she was so helpful and kind and took her time with us to make sure we were happy. Massive...

A gem for potato lovers! Clearly a family run restaurant with a sole dedication to potatoes. Yes, you can get a schnitzel too. Very generous portions - in hindsight we should've shared a main or skipped the excellent starters. Or maybe fasted all day. Goat cheese starter and fresh potato chips (which came with two dips - the tzaziki was excellent) Potato cordon blue and potato pan with pork for mains. Every main came with a delicious fresh salad. Mozart dessert for... Dessert. This was a bit different to what we expected - the almond cake was a bit dry (still tasty) but the hot chocolate and warm apples balanced it well. We will come again.

What a great little spot. Tucked away from hustle and bustle. Had a cream of garlic soup. Great presentation lovely flavour. Baked potato with butter. Small salad garnish on the side. Potato had been fully baked correctly. Crispy crunchy skin soft floury inside. Superb flavour. Couldn't recommend it enough. The name of potato is argria, never heard of it but great taste. Good coffee and a simple apple pie with cream. Good cooking apples used as not too sweet. Great flavour. Try it. Good range of food on menu.
