Arrived as a single diner. Noone attended to me, so i sat in the only available seat which happened to be at a table where all chairs were in the sun bar 1. All of the parties were attended to before me and even after i asked someone for a menu i was ignored. Finally, someone took my order. 25 min wait for a drink, 40 mins for my starter. In the meantime, a staff member was extremely rude to me for sitting at a table. I was embarrassed and furious, as there was no where else to sit and noone wanted to sit in the direct sun. If i hadnt had to wait so long for service the table would have been freed up anyway!. The other staff were quite lovely and courteous, not realising i nearly left the place without eating my meal. The food was average at best.

I hadn't read the reviews about the credit card, however, the waitress tried to take my card away to swipe it without me, i insisted to stay with my card. Thank god!

I left feeling upset and invisible at being a solo traveller and treated with such...

We were absolutely raving about this restaurant while eating there: absolutely loved the food and vibe indoors with the couches. The conch dishes were amazing. BUT sadly, we just found out from our credit card company that our credit card was attempted to be stolen in Nassau and $1400 of charges attempted to be put on our card, which was luckily caught and stopped by our credit card company. This restaurant was the ONLY place in Nassau that we used our card! We used cash the rest of the day. At the time, we had wondered that our waitress seemed to be gone with our card for an unusually long time, and now this. I'm going to assume (and hope!) that the restaurant itself is not complicit but that they have a bad employee, which I urge them to investigate. As for customers, make sure you pay in cash only! It's too bad that this happened, because we really did love the food and had planned to give a raving 5 star review prior to finding out. Excellent food but bad...

I was disappointed with this place. Based on the prices (see pictures of the menu), I was expecting something a little better. The tacos didn’t come up a side and there was nothing special about them. The conch fritters were okay but really doughy. My recommendation for them is to either lower the prices (to what they were recently) or up their quality. It also looks like they change the menu (with higher prices) when the cruise ships are on port. I was concerned with the credit card comments, so I used cash.

The 2-star rating doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t go there, but if you go in hopes to try authentic island food, you won’t be getting anything special there. I don’t like giving low ratings because I know these places rely on tourism, but at the same time, ratings are important for them to change...

We were stopped by a runner just before noon telling us we should try this place for unprocessed food. He was very persuasive, and we were hungry after our walking tour so we took a chance. We sat outside under an umbrella and ordered conch fritters, rum runners, fish tacos and sweet potato fries. Absolutely wonderful. Best conch fritters I have eaten. Tacos were so fresh and the flour shells perfectly toasted. The sweet potato fries were hand cut, non-breaded and flavorful. Drinks were juices, not mixes and it showed. Had to track down our runner and thank him afterwards. If you are in a hurry, please try the other touristy places. But if you want to relax and eat some great food on a nice deck overlooking to Port, then this is the place.
