Tried the new ice cream place downtown. Tipsy Scoops. Great flavours to try and I enjoyed my order.

Don't bother to press the buzzer at the entrance door - it must be a decoy as the door is unlocked. Spent several additional seconds out there (as did other patrons did after me) "trying to be let in" 😄 Once I got in, staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The store was clean but they need to organize their space for storage of their supplies - - too many stacked boxes in the customer dining area.

Visited on a holiday when parking at the back was open and available, so I don't know how the parking will be on a regular day if you're driving to get there.

Overall enjoyed the experience, I would...

Walking around in the evening looking for a snack when I was told about Tipsy Scoop. They have alcohol infused ice cream and regular non-alcoholic versions as well. I am simple vanilla guy, so had two scoops- and they were pretty large as you can see. Tipsy is pretty at times and I just arrived as a large crowd was leaving. I guess their connection is with an NYC producer, so ice cream is shipped in frozen. Very rich and creamy flavors would make me return. Staff was fun and interactive, dancing to the local music playing in background. Would definitely...

After hearing everyone talk about them, I went there to see what the noise was about. I was so distracted by the welcoming and upbeat personality of the supervisor serving me that I forgot her name lol. She possessed a charming and welcoming demeanor and made me want to spend my money. I tried the guava and soursop sorbet and it was good. She let me sample the coconut ice cream, which made me want to return. I'm not an alcohol foody, but based on the experience and customer service, I'll try one when I go...

We loved this place! The ice cream was so tasty (and it was ~actually~ boozy) -- and the portions were way bigger than we were expecting. The interior of the ice cream parlor is also very nicely decorated and whatnot. Highly recommend it, even if it isn't necessarily a local spot. We tried the vanilla+bourbon and the chocolate+tequila (I forget the actual names of the flavors) -- and both were delicious and actually worked shockingly well together.
