One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. We waited for 1h and a half with 2 babies to get served mussels shrimp crockets and a steak ordered rare. Everything was served at once after more than 1h and a half. Mussels were ok (not bad but definitely out of interest), shrimp crockets also on the same page as the mussels. And the steak was way overcooked, almost done but we had already wasted too much of our time in this trap restaurant. I then asked to get beers being offered and the owner just told me that it takes time to cook stuff, yes, true but it could have been good dishes in half of that time. Waiter was also laughing at me when I left in a disrespectful manner. Everything is also way overpriced. I don't get how they can get a rating this good. I don't recommend to anyone. Note that we also had to change our baby diapers in the middle of the restaurant, on the same place where they hold knives and forks; just a few centimeters away so I won't be surprised if there was also any kind of hygiene issue. Everything is way overpriced with a...
Read moreWe went here with our toddler but were treated with terrible service for our child despite having a kids menu at their place. The server had the audacity to tell my 2 year old to behave because it did not look good for his restraunts. I ignored this which in retro I shouldn't have. Very next minute he shamed my husband for thinking they had different sized fries for little ones. While we were figuring it out our options, the server basically left taking our order showing how busy he was and didn't have time for us.
That was the end for me and ended up taking our business to a place which cared. I went there because Google had great reviews but I later learnt they are all from local tour guides (probably paid) and actually has terrible service and no way of treating it's guests especially parents...
Read moreWe recently visited this establishment after noticing its impressive 4.4-star rating on Google Maps. However, we cannot recommend this place. The food lacked the distinct personality and authenticity we were hoping for, especially in relation to Belgian and French cuisine. It was surprising to see dishes such as ‘Himalayan chicken’ on the menu, which suggested a different culinary influence. Additionally, the staff appeared to be Asian, possibly from the southern slopes of the Himalayas, judging by their looks, pronunciation, and the inclusion of other Himalayan dishes. We ordered the ‘Ostend fish soup,’ ribeye, and cod, but unfortunately, none of these dishes appealed to us or reminded us of the delightful Flemish cuisine we had previously experienced in Brussels. Overall, our visit was...
