Very rude customer service from the male waiter. We went in there to ask if we could do takeaway hot chocolate. The lady at the counter said we will have to wait 15 minutes because they were very busy and did not have time to clean the mugs so it will take some time. Then the man came in and we asked if we can wait 15 minutes and he very rudely goes "full full" without even listening to what we asked. Then we asked if we can do takeaway (looking at other reviews it seems like there are photos with takeaway cups đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸) and he again very rudely goes "no only inside" and did not listen when I tried to say the lady said we can wait 15 minutes. And judging by the replies to bad reviews it looks like the management don't know how to handle bad reviews either đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸đ
EDIT: as evidence from their reply, you can see where the rudeness comes from. Don't work in customer service facing roles if this is your...
Read moreThis is a must when visiting Bruges! It has such a good vibe and the people working there are incredibly kind and welcoming â you instantly feel at home, almost like a local.
We loved it so much we came back twice. The first time we had cappuccinos (the best in town!) along with a selection of their chocolates â rich, smooth and perfectly crafted. Truly the best Belgian chocolate weâve tried! The second time, we went for the caffe mocha, which was also excellent, and later stayed for wine. Thatâs an extra plus about this place: you donât need to move on somewhere else â it works just as well for coffee in the morning as it does for wine in the afternoon, all while watching people pass by, reading a book and enjoying the beautiful street. Another thing we really liked is how relaxed it feels â no rush, just a spot where you can sit back and enjoy Bruges at its best.
Will definitely...

Once you step inside though, you're visually greeted with stacks of silky smooth chocolates of all varieties temping you through the counter display glass, and shelves of gift-wrapped sugary delights to take home.
The Cookie Crumble & Caramel, BlueBerry Filled, and Chili chocolates were my favorites, but you can't go wrong. Might get me in trouble with the USDA but I trafficked a sampler of chocolate's back home to California as a gift to my parents. They traveled well.
In short if you're in Bruges and looking to satisfy a sweet tooth...
