Sweet l’oeuff — Restaurant in Bruges

What a gem, and at the heart of the city center. We were looking for an alternative to hotel breakfast buffets and found this lovely place. We wandered in on Saturday around 10:30 and didn't have a booking but we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The menu is amazing! You can find a wide range of selections. My husband opted for the brunch and I went for the Sweet L'oeff. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff were utterly charming. When a toddler sitting across started making a fuss they all stepped in and within seconds charmed the little chap too.

We liked it so much that we booked a table for Sunday too. Upon arrival they remembered us and sat us at now what is known as "our" table. There are a lot of eating establishments in the area but if you want sensibly priced, delicious food with a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll find it here.

Funny thing to eat in a place that shares the exact same value and idea than the place we run on our own in Germany.

We came to Brugge to visit the city and we wanted to eat locally in businesses that show heart and love to themselves and their customers.

And if you feel the same, this is the place to go have your breakfast! Everything that we ate was super delicious. The staff is friendly. The coffee is really good and you can taste the quality of it.

The ambient is nice and cozy and the service was super nice.

Stop what you’re doing and go here. The food is absolutely out of this world good. We went here two days in a row. The portions are plentiful and everything is mouth-watering delicious, no matter if it’s “basics” like eggs and bacon, or other items like the mozzarella for the caprese toast. Their hot drinks selection is extensive. The plates, cups and cutlery is so beautiful I want to buy them, and the presentation is top notch. To top it off, the service is so nice and positive that “friendly” is a huge understatement. They really love their restaurant and what they are doing.
