Pralinette — Restaurant in Bruges

As a chocolate lover, during both visits to Brugge, I took full advantage of visiting all the different chocolate shops and picking up a 8-12 different pieces from each one so this review is highly comparative. I'm pretty fussy about chocolate so I don't LOVE all the fancy little chocolates' taste but I do love how pretty they are and picking them out. When it comes to eating them I am pretty meh. Rarely blown away but not like anything tastes bad. Pralinette was the only baggie of goodies I cracked into when I got home that I did not like almost all of them. I had bought a few chocolates here many years ago and they were my favourites so bought a bigger box and also a selection for my mum.

Unfortunately I am not sure I will be able to enjoy all of these as my mum has not stopped talking about them and she called me at 11pm to tell me they were the most amazing chocolates she has had. I have to share mine now.

Now we both have serious taste in chocolate, there is not a high end brand out there we don't know about (like Chapon and Laderach, not Hotel Chocolat or Lindt). Some people like to go on clothes shopping trips, I like chocolate and baked goods.

Thankfully they seem to have a postal service but my mum now wants to come with me when I come back to she can buy a 'massive'...

We spent a week in Belgium visiting Brussels, Bruges, Gent, Mechelin, and Antwerp. He had our fair share of chocolates everywhere we went. This was by far our favorite. The vodka praline was as good as anything I have ever eaten. My only complaint is it was so hot that we could not transport any back with us. Upon return to the US I immediately looked to see if I could order items and have them shipped to me. Incredible detail and craftmanship is shown by this company.
