Maha — Restaurant in Brussels

Had wraps several times, tabbouleh a few times, halloumi fries and coconut muhallebi once. Muhallebi was the only 5-star dish, full of flavor and refreshing, the rest tends to fall a bit on the dry side. Not bad, but not really satisfying either. Prices are fair, though, staff is nice, and it's fully vegetarian, which is a big plus if you don't want your wrap smoked on top of a meat grill like seems to be the case with every other lebanese fast food in Brussels. The impression would be significantly better if they added more veggies and sauce to their wraps, bulgur to their tabbouleh, and pomegranate to everything, and served/packed the food (at least when you're eating in) in a way that would generate...

Nice guys working there. That's my only compliment. Have been there a few times. Totally inconsistent quality though. Overpriced as well. And way too slow. Also, hygiene is important.. especially lately. Bathroom and tables were slimy. Can get a much tastier pita for 5 euros on rue de Fromage (Greek street). Haloumi luke warm and bland often. Falafel taste old or dry. Sometimes they would have great pomegranate accents or other seasoning, but usually not. Ate there out of emergency after the first time. Next time I'll just fast.

I honestly laughed at the positive reviews here. Either they're desperate Vegans, were drunk, or never had much experience with what an actual falafel...

Food tasted good, but the service was not good and they can definitely do better. We want to order lemonade, but there’s also one product called lemonaid+ in store. When we order, the waitress neither mentioned there are two similar products there or told us to take them from fridge after payment. When I want to pay more for lemonade later, she said but they (these two products) are in different prices. Looks like I don’t know that and I don’t have the money to pay that. What’s more, another waitress didn’t look at our receipt carefully and kept saying that we only order one lemonade. Made me have to point out to her that in receipt. Quite an annoyed and...
