Very good staff, round between various meat/fish presentation are short!
When you order the classical menu, waiters will came regularly with a kebab and and ask you if you want some of it and slice a part for you.
They have a nice selection for meat lovers and it is well spiced and tasteful!
You can also order extra salad if it's your thing, but you don't get there to eat salad. Don't you ?
The wrapper for the cutlery double as "+ more", "- no more" indicator so waiter do not bother you if you are taking an eating break.
The bottled beer is really good! Very light, so it doesn't interfere with the strong meat taste! It's a good call if you do not want to drink strong beverage, cola or water.
The place is clean too and seems to be well run.
Patrons are not loud, you can have a conversation.
Normally, you should make a reservation. I tried but they didn't pick up the phone. We decided to still go for it and, obviously, we had some place!
The rooms is decorated with animals from which you are eating the meat and the kitchen is behind a glass so you see people working! You also see it is clean! Probably a good place for those who fear restaurants for hygienic reasons!
The other added value is the location itself! Nice church and place next to it.
Lastly, it may looks expensive as it is 30€ and drinks are to be paid too. But that's meat! And the cooks are good at their craft. The reality is that for the quality of service, that's cheap!
If you want to please someone, that...
Read moreWent for my son's birthday as we are both carnivores and had read good things about this place. It did not disappoint. Firstly we were bought some nibbles and our drinks arrived. Cocktails were very nice and properly made. The concept was explained to us really well and the staff were very friendly. The servers brought some fish and prawns first which were all delicious and perfectly cooked. Different types of beef, lamb chicken, pork and sausage followed which again were all succulent, juicy, well cooked and most importantly, very tasty. We were also given different sides at random intervals which was good so we weren't overfaced, my favourite being the coleslaw. Probably the best coleslaw I've ever eaten. The vegetables were also very nice and a great accompaniment to the different meats. There were a selection of sauces on the table too, the highlight being the BBQ sauce. Im not usually a great lover of BBQ sauce but I could not get enough of it. If I could have bought a couple of bottles of it to take home with me I would have done. The waiters were very attentive always making sure we had enough drinks sides etc and made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. We both left very...
Read moreA bit apprehensive initially as its an all you can eat, but one of the best I've been to. Very busy so be prepared to wait or book at busy times. You get Bread to start, then a choice of unlimited sides (we had fries), salad and veg - all were very tasty. Then it's onto the mains. The standard menu is 9 meat & fish dishes which is 35 EUR per peroan. The staff bring round skewers of each type of meat and they slice bits off for you. You have a card with 'More' on one side and 'Stop' on the other indicating if you want them to keep bringing good over. They're very responsive and come round every couple of minutes with freshly cooked food - e.g. Sausages, garlic lamb, chicken, honey & mustard pork - all faultless. There are also vegetarian options. All in all with the food and 2 drinks we paid just under 40 EUR per person, very reasonable
Only downside is drinks staff are a little lax so took a bit of time to get another drink, and the manager/owner (who was just sat in the corner until someone paid) also most ushered us out of the door once paid.
Definitely recommended this place and...
