   Read moreI hate leaving a bad review but this was the worst service Iâve ever received. Booked a table for 7:30pm, no one came near us until 8:00pm - had to get our own menus. We ordered one shared starter and two mains. Received started at 8:15pm and it was collected by 8:30pm. Got asked did we want them together or the mains after the starter which we agreed to. 9:15pm arrived and no main course had surfaced. We then tried to call down a member of staff (very sparse the whole night) who told us that there was a change of staff and the fact we had asked for our mains separate had not been communicated and it took the kitchen contacting them to notice? We declined and left as we had further plans and didnât think it would take 2 hours to be served dinner. This whole time we had empty drinks as well and no server came to offer us a refill or an alternative. Embarrassing service that we received and Iâd be sad to work here full time - staff tried to make up for the lack of tip they were receiving but it made no difference after gagging for one with the card machine shoved in our faces??? Considering we had been seated for over half an hour with no one addressing us then for staff to expect a tip? Not a chance. The Old Fashioned was goodâa classic reinterpretationâbut the smoke effect was more for show and didnât add much to the flavor. The French 75, however, was disappointing. It didnât taste like it contained champagne but rather prosecco. While the staff assured us otherwise, the quality didnât match expectations. We asked for a plain Martini Cocktail as a replacement, but there was confusion with the order, and they initially suggested a Gibson Martini instead.
