Bašča — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

Turkish(Türkçe); Kahvaltı için tercih ettik. Fiyatları sormadan oturduğumuz için fiyat konusunda eleştiri yapmayacağım. Sadece diğer mekanlara oranla oldukça pahalı olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Çünkü birçok farklı yerde kahvaltı, öğle yemeği ve akşam yemeği yedik. Fakat burada yediğimiz kazık hepsinin ötesindeydi.

Kahvaltı için gelen ürünler klasik türk serpme kahvaltısıydı. Ancak patates kızartması dünden kalmaydı. Bu kadar müşterisini düşünmeyen bir mekan olacağını tahmin edemezdim. Diğer yediğimiz şeylerin de ne kadar taze olup olmadığını bilmiyorum. Sadece kızartmanın görüntüsü ve tadı bayat olduğunu gösteriyordu. Orada olay çıkarmadık ama burada yorumlarda ne kadar kötü bir yer olduğunu yazacağım ki görenler gidip bu berbat mekana para kazandırmasın. Ayrıca bu iş yeri sahibinin iki oteli bir de araba kiralama şiketi varmış. Bunlardan da uzak durmanızı öneriyorum. Bir kişi bir işte kötüyse her şeyde kötüdür. Aldığı paranın hizmetini yapamayan bu berbat yere ruhsat veren belediyeyi de kınıyorum. Arada bir kontrol etseler böyle sorunlar olmaz. Kesinlikle önermiyorum.

English: "We opted for breakfast. I won't criticize the prices as we sat down without asking. I can only say it's quite expensive compared to other places. We've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at many different places, but the rip-off we experienced here tops them all.

The breakfast items served were the classic Turkish breakfast spread. However, the potato fries were leftover from yesterday. I couldn't have imagined a place that doesn't consider its customers this much. I don't know if the other things we ate were fresh or not. It was just the appearance and taste of the fries that indicated they were stale. We didn't cause a scene there, but I'm going to write in the reviews how terrible this place is so that others don't go and support this awful establishment. Additionally, I heard that the owner of this business has two hotels and a car rental company. I recommend staying away from those as well. If someone is bad at one thing, they're bad at everything. I also condemn the municipality that granted a license to this terrible place that can't deliver on the money it receives. If they conducted occasional inspections, such problems wouldn't occur. I absolutely do not recommend it."

Bosnian (Bosanski): "Izabrali smo doručak. Neću kritikovati cijene jer smo sjeli bez pitanja. Mogu samo reći da je prilično skupo u poređenju s drugim mjestima. Doručkovali smo, ručali i večerali na mnogo različitih mjesta, ali prevare koje smo ovdje doživjeli nadmašuju sve.

Servirani doručak bio je klasičan turski doručak. Međutim, krompirići su bili ostatak od jučer. Nisam mogao ni zamisliti mjesto koje svoje goste ne uzima u obzir ovako. Ne znam jesu li ostale stvari koje smo jeli bile svježe ili ne. Samo izgled i ukus krompirića ukazivali su na to da su stari. Nismo napravili scenu tamo, ali napisat ću u recenzijama koliko je ovo mjesto loše kako drugi ne bi otišli i podržali ovu strašnu ustanovu. Također sam čuo da vlasnik ovog posla ima dva hotela i kompaniju za iznajmljivanje automobila. Preporučujem da se i od toga držite dalje. Ako je neko loš u jednoj stvari, loš je u svemu. Također osuđujem općinu koja je izdala dozvolu za ovako strašno mjesto koje ne može opravdati novac koji prima. Da su povremeno provodili inspekcije, takvi problemi se ne bi događali. Apolutno ne...

The coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced honestly one of the best you can find in Sarajevo. Their ice cream is creamy and full of flavor, while the tea is warm, aromatic, and comforting.

Every detail feels thoughtfully prepared, and you can see how much they care about quality. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's the kind of place you instantly fall in love with and never want to leave.

On our last day in Sarajevo, we stopped by Bašča to have breakfast and yet the food they served us was nothing like what they advertised. The milk they poured in our coffee wasn't in a good condition. The omelette they served was extremely dry and cold, which already hinted that it'd been cooked a while ago (maybe even a day ago?), but so was the salad. Tomatoes and cucumbers? More like sheets of paper that we weren't even able to even bite (and least to say their condition wasn't even good). And, what's even worse, both the owner and the restaurant's waitresses were incredibly rude to us when we asked for our bill. All in all, incredibly overpriced food that wasn't even edible at all. Don't go there if you don't want...
