Cinnzeo Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Calgary

2025- staff again... very odd. Lol I stood there and they looked at me then stopped . But .... maybe didnt think i was a real customer?? I stood at the register.. again They looked . So I smiled and said hi to show im a real human ready for a cinnamon bun . Lady seemed confused when I said I wanted one bun . I could barely hear her to. She didnt even give me a fork so I made sure to ask. . What am I gonna eat it like.a hamburger? Lol . Bun was decent.. I just didnt want a tims dounut , so i went there .

They also want tips ?? Tip for what ? Going to work? Lmao... annoying .. 😑

One year ago 2024-Staff was odd. Seems depressed and reluctant to ring an order through. The cinnamon bun was below average.. tasting like grain . . Whole wheat flavor. It wasn't the treat I was...

there’s 2 locations at the mall so that’s convenient. i always liked going to cinnzeo, decided to treat myself to a mini roll; it was 2 for about $10. it is quite expensive for the size, but i wouldn’t mind if it was good. sadly it seems like the quality has gone down. they do not taste fresh anymore. i also used to see them handing out samples. i haven’t seen that in YEARS now. they must be cutting corners everywhere.

after this experience i will likely not buy these anymore. you can get cheap and tasty large packs from the grocery store so i will stick to that or bake it from scratch.

also worth noting that some reviews of cinnzeo stores regularly mention that their gluten free rolls are mouldy…. i don’t need to buy gluten free but check the package before you purchase...

Really unhappy with cinnamon rolls bought from this location beside the chinook mall food court. Recently had some great 4 pack from market mall so we thought we would grab some. We bought two and later that day went to eat some and I could tell by the feel and consistency they were not fresh and not baked that day. They were very tough and not soft. I would not recommend this location, Cinnzeo is very expensive so if the buns are not super fresh it is a horrible deal. Will not return to this location! Beware

Also asking for a tip is a joke and the fact you have to do multiple steps to get around it is dumb and glad I didn’t tip for them selling me old and tough buns

Sticker on bottom says they are no good in two days so that tells me they are two days old...
