Manchu Wok — Restaurant in Calgary

I tried this place for the first time today and it will be my last most likely. The only thing I found I enjoyed was the honey garlic chicken. Good flavor, but when I moved onto my rice and chicken wings I found myself severely disappointed. I love chicken wings personally and was excited to see them but when I began to eat them I found it just tasted like oil more so than a light crispy batter. Not to mention they were mostly the wing ends rather than the chicken leg itself you see at most places. As for the rice it was bland and nothing really special about it to begin with. I tasted more of the skillet than whatever flavor they tried to convey and oddly enough my rice seemed... dry? Lastly they charge more if you want noodles instead of rice which I personally found odd. I believe it's about $1 more for noodles. Never experienced that before Over all save your money and go somewhere else unless you want to just eat the honey garlic chicken. I'm a food lover at heart and it's sad when I can't even...

My husband and I wanted a quick bite at the mall before we continued to shop. Please choose another place to eat. My husband had their orange chicken and sweet and sour pork, it was burned or had a nasty bitter taste to it. Went to the shop to tell them and pretty much said too bad.
