Went to pick up my food which was around $200 when I went to pick up I wanted to make sure it’s the right order. It happened in the past so I did not want the same situation so I thought to check before leaving the restaurant. The ladies at front were really rude wouldn’t let me check the order kept saying it’s your order like they were really sure what they were doing. I said let’s just make sure I only opened couple of boxes and happened to glance over both of the ladies that were behind the counter rolling the eyes at me and which made me very uncomfortable one of the chefs kept coming back to kitchen door each time he kept touch his nose like his nose was running from eating spicy food and he was chewing his food while he was also interested in my conversation. so I stopped hoped that it would be correct order. I pick up the order had to make 2 trip but took my order and left got home sure enough those order that I checked were correct and the drinks were okay rest of the dishes were what I had order was not correct. Phoned back and the same lady answered the phone and said sorry about that. I asked if they would be will to make my order again I can bring it back the order they had given me. She flat out said it’s gonna take more than two hours. Now I understand it’s busy time but it’s not my fault that my order was made incorrectly. The 2 dishes that were correct looked like they’ve been made 2-3 hours before and were just sitting in warmer. They way food was you could tell it’s been sitting in the warmer that’s it. It really broke my heart we were looking forward to having nice family dinner but was ruined. The point is they weren’t will to fix it or wait time was more than 2hours. Rudeness, cleanliness, incorrect order. Never again. Only came to the restaurant a couple times but yea never again. I’ll take my...

Decided to try this place tonight with my girlfriend and we were both seriously disappointed. We both love sushi and eat it quite often, but we regret trying the food here. The first thing I notice was how dirty it was, how my water glass and side plate I was given were also dirty. We order the prawn tempura, bangol tiger roll, and tuna tataki roll. The tempura was okay, had a bit of an odd after taste. One of the prawns was under cooked and the other still had the vein in it. The bangol tiger roll was flavourless and the mango in it over ripped and mushy looking. The tuna tataki roll taste pretty good until it didn’t. A few of the pieces had a serious burnt and off putting taste to it. Also not a fan of the plastic grass, powder wasabi and pickled ginger, which seemed to have been in their walk in for at least a month from appearances. Would have given a higher rating, but once we got home, we both started to feel seriously unwell, and getting sick. Which is even more frustrating because I left hungry and unable to eat when I got home. While I said I would be willing to give them another chance my girlfriend has no interest in going back. For a bit more context. We were the only people dining in and they only served 2 take out orders. I really don’t like leaving low reviews, but as a cook of 10+ years, the food was inedible and never should have been served to a guest. The server was friendly but kinda push off our complaints as just being our palettes. If you love sushi like us, I would highly recommend somewhere else. The only good thing about it, I can say is that it’s...

The kind of place that's really easy to walk by (and what a shame it would be to do so!) Everything from the miso soup, to the sushi, even the wassabi was very fresh. The wassabi was especially notable, it was very smooth and not too spicy, so you could load up a lot more of it on the sushi and really enjoy it there. Tempura stays crispy after a long time, all of the fish and vegetables taste fresh!

I don't have any criticisms just suggestions: I thought both tempura and edamame could have a bit more seasoning. The tempura did come with a sauce but there wasn't enough of it, just a bit of salt would be great. I was surprised to not see tea on your menu, given that everything esle is done very dilligently and traditionally. But I understand during covid you would probably need to invest in paper cups. Also more covid related, but the only dessert offered is ice cream. That doesnt work very well for takeout, maybe swapping that for mochi or some other non-melting dessert would be a good move.

But thats very small things and totally not worth taking a star off. Thankyou for your service and for the...

This restaurant suppports animal cruelty. They allowed their customer to dine in their restaurant leaving the customers dog in a hot car for over an hour. After 45 minutes, of monitoring the dog in 30degeee weather I went inside the restaurant to alert the staff and the staff did nothing!!!! they didn't ask the customer to take their food to go, they didn't help me locate the owner of the dog and they didn't call 911 to support the dog. the customers got aggressive with me informing me that their dog was "just fine" and that they've been going outside to give it water every 20 minutes which is not true because I was doing it. 35 minutes after the altercation they finally finished their meal and took the dog home. Claiming to be pet loving owners yet did nothing when I brought it to their attention a dog was being left in a hot car while they provided service to the customer. absolutely disgraceful. We all need to do our part in stopping animal cruelty. sitting back and allowing it to happen makes this restaurant just as guilty as the pet owner.

Went there tonight to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Very nice experience. The Hospitality: Came there at 8:30pm and still got everything I ordered even though they were gonna close at 9pm. We were welcomed with a genuine smile from the lady and the girl upon our arrival. Very nice and homey place and the family that works there is so nice to us. This is my second time visiting them and yet they remember me and my girlfriend from 3 months ago. The food: we ordered Chicken Karaage, sushi, beef Don, Coconut chicken curry. Our food took a very reasonable time to prepare (only 10-15 mins) and it was made fresh and hot in their open kitchen. The Karaage is a must try if you haven’t. Even though the menu says chicken Karaage wings they make actual chicken Karaage which is so much better, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside . Do yourself a favour and try it !! Next thing I loved the most was the coconut curry.. loaded with chicken and seasonal vegetables and cooked in a coconut milk sauce. I am most certainly going back there.

Ordered their food from Uber Eats, they mistaken my order (mixed up some nigiris) and that is fine, as mistakes happen. What was absolutely unacceptable is that when I called them to report this incident (kindly), they showed no sympathy or make any effort to compensate for the mistake. I told them I come from out of town, and asked them for a replacement, and they respond by asking us to pick it up ourselves, after we told them explicitly we do not drive. They said if we really want, they can offer us a credit for next time if/when we visit. Asked for a refund, and they told me to reach Uber Eats myself, and proceeded to cut off my call. Cucumber was also bitter. Food otherwise not bad, but experience wise, 8-9/10 would not recommend
