Relatively cheap Pizza with lots of deals and specials + the loyalty program they have. Decent variety of non-pizza foods (sides, sandwiches, desert) -What they're most known in my opinion: the amazing dipping sauces (peppercorn ranch and creamy garlic are amazing) Staff are friendly and understanding here's some examples:
when they first opened a year or two ago I used their free slice mailer coupon once a day for like a week from people tossing them in the recycling and they never gave me a hard time or dirty looks). 2. Another time I went in there during the terrible cold snap and was waiting for my food and the guy cleaning the place up for closing went out of his way to grab me a chair so I could sit down even though he was sweeping and mopping.
Seems as if a lot of people reviewing this specific location on Google don't realize Pizza Pizza is a chain franchise and most of their complaints are issues corporate has to do with.
I'm assuming because this is one of the newer stores in BC people don't have the same kind of brand recognition as somebody who knows Pizza Pizza from Ontario and how bad it...
Read moreThis place has decent dairy free gluten free pizza. I like the cauliflower crust, it doesn’t taste like it has cauliflower in it at all and it’s gluten free. I’m not a fan of the Unbun low carb crust. Overall I like this pizza place, so far
A couple things though .. the hot honey pizza has WAY too much honey on it ! The ratio of spicy to sweet should be more spice to sweetness, should taste less sweetness than spice. My diabetic mom also didn’t like the taste of it & probably was a lot of sugar for her. You can see the honey on top of the pizza, there’s a a lot of it and very sticky if you touch it. Should be a light amount of honey. Never tasted such super honey sweetened pizza before, the excess honey doesn’t suit pizza. Never expected it to be quite that much ! When I’ve eaten hot honey pizza at other places it has never been that much honey. The honey overtakes the pizza
Also the girl on the phone speaks waaayyy too fast with her accent. I felt bad having to clarify what she said every time she said something. Her accent is hard to understand, but the main thing is that she speaks way too fast...
Read morePizza was alright, maybe marginally better than papa Johns or dominos, but more expensive. Very thick dough which was decently good actually but quite sparse toppings. I wanted something closer to breadsticks today though so this was a win, 3/5 on taste 2/5 on value. Onion rings were soft and soggy, not good at all. They had no sauce and the portion was small — the double I ordered was more like a single. I threw them in my air fryer to crisp them up and get some of the grease out and made a ketchup / mayo / sriracha sauce that bumped them up to a 3.5/5. In their original form? 1.5/5 taste 0.5/5 value. I knew this was a chain, but the 4.7 rating I saw for this restaurant left my expectations for this fast food pizza joint way too high. I would come back if they had something like the 50% off on Mondays papa Johns or dominos has. 2/5, but rated as 1/5 to combat the...
