Top experience and meal that warrants the hype and price.
The restaurant at a first glance may seem overpriced, with a limited menu and guilty of the Instagramable night out no substance all glits type meals that have emerged and sadly become so prevalent as flexing and unironic yoloing that has grown commonplace among ourselves.
For a place like this a few things usually go wrong or unnoticed by management. The little things like the sides or the pairings or eating experience. The little details tell a bigger story of care and attention that can be lost in the sheen.
Whiile some "restaurants" try to class it up, some are just classy. They sadly be confused by the real deal, so please make no mistake, this place is legit.
These small touches make the main means stand out.
The service is top notch. Quick, friendly and knowledgeable. They come in clinically with a refill or even before you notice you need something.
This 5 star service makes you feel confident in what may lay ahead. Specifically how they talk about the dishes and what to expect for the first bite.
The small touches are things like the plating and glassware. They give some charm to the place that you would not expect and make a drink feel even more elevated experience.
The menu at a first glance may seem limited but curated is a better description given the quality and thought given to each piece.
I went as part of a group and we went for most of the options, and nothing was short of excellent. The tomahawks were flashy as expected but the meat and pairings warranted the price by themselves. The porkchops were the best I have ever had. The mushrooms were also top notch. Nothing was short of excellent.
The funniest of things was that as a group we all reached consensus over how the mashed potatoes were the standout of the night. This to me speaks to the craft and how the smaller dishes are given the love and care needed to stand out.
The cocktail list was equally curated and equal to that of a top cocktail bar. The glassware, ingridients and presentation were all top notch. Even the paper straws were not only included when needed without having to ask but were the higher-level of straw that makes it easy to forget why people can complain about them. They made the cocktails stand out and did not diminish from it as some can do.
The decor and ambiance were fantastic and to be expected with a property of this caliber. Functional, modern with style. Confident without neededing to over reach.
These details really make a vacation or a night out memorable and a reason to consider to end a night here with an amazing meal experience.
This makes the value of the experience worth it, especially given how few restaurants can deliver such meals with that level of service and care.
Fine dining is hard, but Choux Gras nails made...

A few of my business partners and I ( party of 6) were traveling from the US and decided to try this establishment. We initially made reservations for 8:45pm but noticed we were arriving late, gave them a call, and they informed us it wouldn’t be a problem. Once we arrived our waiter came over and began to take our order, unfortunately I cannot remember his name, but he was a really nice and attentive guy who did an amazing job serving us. HOWEVER, once we received the bill the waiter suggested we split it 3 ways to make things easier. It took over 30 minutes for the waiter to run our card because he was having issues with his system. When my partner finally able to pay, the machine was in French and my partner didn’t fully understand what the machine said when it was time to leave a tip. The waiter gave him directions on which buttons to press and he paid.
FIVE MINUTES LATER the manger comes over to us and he told us we are “blacklisted from this restaurant” and that we have “NO CLASS”!! I was in utter disbelief that these words would be coming the MANAGER. Instead of him asking if we realize we only left a 3% tip, he caused such a scene in the middle of the restaurant, yelling and cursing that even the other patrons were appalled. I have never in my life been so disrespected and spoken to the way that the manger spoke to me. I strongly believe he spoke to us in such a manner was because we are black. For a grown man to speak to a women in such a way was terrible. We spent over $600 at this establishment to be treated like garbage.
DO NOT EAT HERE. The food was extremely underwhelming and lacking flavor. And I’m not saying that because we had a bad experience. As a fellow restaurant owners ourselves, we can recognize lackluster food preparation and negligent service. The halibut was undercooked and lacking seasoning. The cocktails were also a bit watered down and not accurate with the description on the menu as they were missing ingredients. The duck was over cooked and dry and had to be sent back. The salmon was edible, but again also lacked flavor. The filet was pretty good. BUT the staff is unbelievably disrespectful. AVOID THIS PLACE and spend your money where you will be respected and...
Read moreThe atmosphere is perfect. The staff is so friendly. The menu is limited but seems to have just enough options. It’s pricey. It is slow. It was my husband’s 50th birthday and our first night of arrival to this dreamy vacation. We decided to order the bouillabaisse to share - a warming seafood meal where the broth should create a stew. Our young child went with the kids’ menu. We were patient. We enjoyed ourselves, had soup and salads to start while we waited. When our meal arrived, it was beautiful … but the dish, served in its clay cooking dish, was cold. I don’t think it was chef’s fault. Someone let it sit around. Which was disappointing considering there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. We believe it sat and lost its heat while our son’s kids’ meal cooked. It’s difficult to eat cold mussels, clams, fish and scallops when you’re expecting them to be warm. We tried. But we barely ate it. The server asked, and we quietly told him. A manager was sent over. It was made into a big deal. We were comped his birthday dessert?? But it resulted in the feeling we were wrong and it should be that way. So it went unresolved, and I write this from our hotel room late at night, stewing over our cold fish stew and first taste of Tremblant being such a disappointment. My husband’s $200+ birthday dinner was a bummer. It also led to incredibly slow service, and my son and I had to eventually leave the table while he stayed and waited for the check. I think this hotel - and it’s “nicer” restaurant are in transition. Prepare for patience and a lukewarm experience (and meal) when you go. You’re paying for the atmosphere. And if you order the bouillabaisse, you may pay $130 for cold...
