I'm a regular in Tremblant and I've seen this restaurant receive a significant facelift from the old restaurant that used to be there. We were looking forward to go and discover this new culinary house. I don't rite allot of reviews however the level of deception we both had, I just needed to get it off my chest.
Sitting area: the greeter sat us in the upper bar area near a window which was small and in the way of the passing servers that were goin from the kitchen to the rest of the restaurant. Servers were not walking, most were running back and fourth with dishes and back with large tray of dirty dishes. on four occasions the speeding servers bumped into me and my chair which was unpleasant to the worse degree, on two occasions dishes were being dropped and glass were broken.
Our dishes: I took the half rib with salad, and the other meal was Salmon. Both meals took forever to arrive, and both were cold completely off the grid. My ribs, it was clear that they pre-cook the ribs in advance and just warm them up, well mine came out of the fridge and was probably heated for 1 minute and served. The interior was cold and the meat was hard. The Salad was served in large soggy peace's and the dressing was peppery zingy that was unpleasant. The Salmon was over cooked, and served cold, fries were crispy and cold. These dishes were left on the counter for way to long.
Our server: completely lost her voice, which was hard to communicate, we ordered a glass of red wine and a glass of White, we received after 10 minutes two glass of white. We told her and she responded sorry and left the glass there. She returned with our dishes 40 minutes later and just dropped our food and left. As much as I was trying to get her attention to tell her that our food was unacceptable, she went our of her way to ignore us. She never came back to check on us and never asked us if our food was good.
I'm hopeful that the next restaurant that will take's it place will be better, because for the price vs quality, this one will be short lived especially in Mont Tremblant.
Will I be back, absolutely not, do I recommend this place which in my view is also over priced, Unfortunately as much as I wanted that place to be good, I have to inform people that are visiting Tremblant to avoid this place. It those give the impression to be a nice place however don't go there to eat, you will be...
Read moreI went to Lucille’s for the first time recently. My friend went in first to ensure they had space as we didn’t have a reservation- and they did which was great! However, when me and my other friend went to join her, we were not allowed in. She was waving us in with the hostess, and a man (who was not wearing a uniform to signify that he worked there) would not let us through. We tried to explain our friend was waving us through, and he rudely cut us off multiple times, as our friend was continually waving us with the hostess. He repeatedly told us to calm down and to not get upset. We were crammed in the vestibule with many other couples. I have severe social anxiety and was starting to have a panic attack because he kept singling us out and speaking very rudely to us. Once we were allowed to enter he once again told me to calm down and not take life so seriously (I did not say one word to this man to warrant this). When we finally arrived at our seats we asked our waiter if the man worked there and he said yes. This whole situation would have gone completely differently if the man had said “listen we just want to wait until the outside door is closed before we open the inner door”, but instead he kept cutting us off and gave no explanation as to why we couldn’t enter. If it is the policy of the restaurant to not open the door until the outer door is closed- maybe they should consider making a larger vestibule or investing in better heating if they are so worried about losing heat.
Our server was absolutely lovely, but honestly if my friend wasn’t already inside I would have turned around and left. The whole experience left a very bad feeling, and leaving the restaurant I had more anxiety about the door man who I was worried would also make us uncomfortable when we left.
The food was ok and came out quickly. The drinks were very expensive, but the food was reasonably priced.
Overall, I did not have a good experience at this establishment because the front door experience made me super uncomfortable. I would not return, and would not recommend it to any of my friends.
Typically I do not write negative reviews, but I hope it is constructive and prompts management to make some changes to this policy to better facilitate the comfort of...
Read moreDining at Lucille's was an absolute pleasure and a culinary adventure for our entire family. Right from the outset, it was evident that this restaurant knows how to cater to families, offering an extensive menu that promises something delightful for every palate.
Our culinary journey began with the cauliflower starter, a dish that set a high bar for the courses to follow. It was expertly prepared, tantalizing our taste buds and leaving us eager for the main course.
For our mains, we opted for a variety of dishes: Fish Tacos, Chicken, a classic Cheeseburger, and Steak & Frites. Each dish was a masterpiece in its own right, showcasing the chef's prowess in creating diverse yet equally exquisite flavors. The Fish Tacos were a flavorful fusion, the Chicken was succulent and tender, the Cheeseburger was a juicy delight, and the Steak & Frites were cooked to perfection, accompanied by golden, crispy fries.
What made our meal even more special was the fact that every dish was a hit with the family. Each plate was wiped clean, leaving us satisfyingly full and content. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite.
Adding to the dining experience were Lucille's signature cocktails. These seasonal delights were not only delicious but also creatively presented, making them a perfect complement to our meal.
In conclusion, Lucille's is a gem of a restaurant that expertly combines family-friendly dining with culinary excellence. The wide array of food options, all equally delicious, ensures that every family member leaves with a smile. Whether you're in the mood for something light and fresh or hearty and indulgent, Lucille's has you covered. We're already looking forward to our next visit and the chance to explore more of their...
