I am absolutely delighted to share our experience at this wonderful restaurant! We stumbled upon this gem while wandering around, and we were immediately drawn in by their menu, which featured an array of fresh and light options.
We decided to bring our 9-year-old daughter, who is notoriously picky when it comes to food. To our pleasant surprise, she absolutely loved the chicken skewers and ended up enjoying the bao buns—something we didn’t think she’d enjoy at all! She devoured them so quickly that we had to order more.
The food was nothing short of spectacular—tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive; the servers were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed.
We did visit another popular spot on a different night, but looking back, I wish we had returned here instead. The price points were comparable, but the overall experience here was far superior.
If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend the ceviche, bao buns, and poke bowl. Each dish was a standout and made our meal...
Read morerestaurant claims to be fresh: it wasn't, upon entering the restaurant I was hit by the smell of bad seafood. it was a bad sign but we gave it a try anyway. we ordered the tacos platters, it claimed to be cod fish tacos but it wasn't fried nor marinated just boiled and mashed up no seasoning only some sauce on it. the pulled pork tacos had corn on top that came straight out of the can not seasonEd nor cooked. the most expensive Platter on the menu the short rib meal was salty and was frozen and reheated meal. it had 3 fingerling potatoes cut in half and 1 bok choy cut in 6 for the hefty price of 43$. we also had the guacamole that wasn't homemade nor fresh it was premade and they only had added onions and tomatoes on top. local nothing on this menu looked local unless they meant taken out of their local freezer. healthy ? perhaps we will never know.
overall not impressed, expensive and it has been a long time I haven't been this...
Read moreWas looking for something a little bit different for dinner one night, decided to try SoCal Kitchen. We started with drinks and a couple appetizers. I ordered a mojito and did the sweet and spicy cauliflower. They nailed the batter and crispiness on this dish and it was served with a sweet Thai chilli sauce. Would definitely order again. Then we got an order of 2 pork tacos (small; probably about 3-4 bites) but they were delicious as well. For mains we ordered the SoCal salad and added salmon, and the seared tuna with ramen noodles. My salad was really good. Everything was fresh and crisp, good flavours. My boyfriend had the tuna and it was SLIGHTLY over cooked. Wasn’t totally impressed but we’ve had worse meals.
Service was incredibly fast and fairly well priced. It was a Sunday, so it was pretty quiet but still a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back, would probably order some appetizers and a bunch of the...
