Perhaps one of the most delightful, exciting, and wholesome dining experiences I have had. It was my first time at Casa Galicia and we came on a Saturday at 8:30 as a party of 3. The physical ambiance alone placed you in a sense of comfort which was complimented by the authentic Spanish charm which surrounded. Once seated, it was not long until we were pleasantly surprised by the mystifying live sounds of the Spanish guitar, which lead us into the dining experience. As we shared our platters, we found ourselves indulging in new taste pallets synchronous to the beautiful waves of sentiment which swelled from the stage by the flamenco performance. The service was immaculate and balanced the performance perfectly. Our charismatic server, Gino, provided us with the finest details and recommendations for our meal, along with his genuine spirit which none of us will forget. This is a place where one who appreciates the fine Spanish cuisine and culture will never be disappointed, and for those who know nothing of it will...
Read moreThis was the best Spanish food that we had in a while. We went for a 4 day trip to Montreal and thank god we found this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing with Spanish music as background but low enough that you could have a conversation. Plus, the service was amazing everyone was super attentive to the point that we never asked for more water or sangria they were always on top of it. And they answered all of our questions.
We order the Valencia Discovery Menu, and it was perfect. It has a bit of everything. A octopus salad, cod croquettes, grilled shrimp and grilled squid as appetizers. And for the main dish a Paella Valenciana. Everything was savory and with very good portions. For drinks we went for a large Red Sangria Pitcher and it was well balanced. So good that we order 2 😂.
Overall our experience was excellent. Whenever we are back to Montreal we will be back. The only thing is that they didn’t had the live show but tbh it...
Read moreIf you're in Montreal, do yourself a favor and head straight to Casa Galicia. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of my trip. From the out-of-this-world mussels to the lobster and seafood paella, and the 10/10 tableside espresso martini hand-shaken by the incredible owner, David—everything was top-notch! When we couldn’t decide on dessert, David took it a step further and created a dessert tasting board so we wouldn’t miss a thing.
David and Fiero went above and beyond to make us feel like part of their family. The service was truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced! The flamenco performance added the perfect touch to the lively, fun atmosphere, making for an unforgettable evening. The cozy, welcoming vibe, delicious food, and amazing drinks are something you absolutely have to experience for yourself!!
I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Huge thanks to David and Fiero for such a...
