Okay, I'll explain. First, I got there and saw that the menu had a quesadilla for $11 with rice or potatoes, so I ordered a quesadilla. Maybe my mistake was asking for details of my order. Well, the girl started preparing my quesadilla and when I saw she was putting salsas and toppings on it to her liking. When I asked her, "Hey, what are you putting on it?" She replied, "Salsa," and I said, "Okay, no problem." Im mexican. And the problem came when I said, "Hey, excuse me, does it come with potatoes, right?" And she said, "No! That's the $11 quesadilla." And I told her, "That's what I paid for." And she said, "No, that's extra." And I said, "Oh, sorry, I don't understand you. Can you speak to me in English, please?" And she said, "You don't speak French, because I speak French." In the end I feel that he was very arrogant and told me. I didn't ask for any sauces or anything, and that's why she served it like that. I said, "Yeah, but you didn't offer me anything." How you want your quesadilla you know? You served it as you pleased, and it's the first and last time I'm going. If the manager writes to me, I'll give the place a second chance. But you should talk to the girl because she doesn't give good service, she's not at all warm, and when I arrived she took a while to service me because she was on...
Read moreFirst review ever! - But I figured it’s a new restaurant, so why not?
I was craving churros and their reviews about the churros looked really promising. I went for the ten natural churros with caramel, piña colada sauce (yes, you’ve read that correctly) and to top it off - sprinkled with white chocolate chips.
It was - and I kid you not! - thee best churros I EVER had. It was fresh, crispy and soft (on the inside). The caramel - piña colada sauce topped with the chocolate was an absolute delight. And the portion was huge! - So, SO Good!
Made me wonder why all the other churros I’ve tried were stale, dry and sometimes a bit hard to chew.
Give it a try! - ask for Belinda’s Special (ten large natural churros, caramel and piña colada sauce with white chocolate chips.) They’ll understand! ;)
Also, I can’t wait to try out the rest of their dishes.
Good luck! Mexigo✨ - and in no way am I being endorsed. It’s that good - why keep it...
Read moreThis was and is one of the best Mexican eateries in, I would even say forget the province but in the country as a whole and I do not say it lightly. I encourage you all to visit this place for yourself and get a taste for yourself and make your own review. The service is so gentle and patient. Their burritos are delicious. The tacos are just the right amount of salad, meat and a crisp crunchy shell. Don’t get me started on the fries if you want to talk about “Loaded” fries. I think the owner may have personally been present at the time of the first Taco being made to be real with you.
Coming from the States, I often find it difficult to find good quality Mexican eateries so passing by this place on my way to St Laurent changed my destination for food completely. Mexigo is the place to go,...
