July 2 2017: where do I begin???? Maybe ONE star is generous. Waiter: seemed like a nice guy.... but probably never got trained and was still on snooze mode. We asked about something on the menu and the answer was "I think......" Where we asked "can you please make sure". And he did. We ordered our drinks... had other questions about our meal and he had no idea but we found the answers on the menu. He returns 5 minutes later saying that the restaurant is very busy and the pizza will take at least 30 minutes.... We decide that it wasn't an issue..... literally 1 minute later he shows up with 2 of the 3 pizzas.... another waiter overheard us saying we didn't have utensils nor napkins and brought them to us. 5 minutes later we get another pizza... my husband was still waiting for his ribs and I then asked to speak to the Manager. My husband got his ribs 4 minutes later and the Manager was apparently aware we asked for her.... our pizzas were cold at this point and had not yet received our drinks. I got up went into the EMPTY restaurant and asked to speak to the Manager ... they weren't sure if she was still there 🤔🤔??? Went back to my table and the drinks had finally arrived. Pizza was cold and my husband's ribs we hard like a rock. The Manager finally arrived and asked "is there a problem here??".. and I asked her to repeat cause I couldn't believe how disinterested she was... I explained the situation and her reply was "I'm not surprised "... I'm thinking am I hearing right??? We decided to leave...
They could not care less....because we are tourists we won't be back....unfortunately for them reviews...
Read moreI booked Cocos through OpenTable for a special evening – my wife's birthday and a friend’s graduation. I had clearly mentioned this in the reservation notes and kindly requested a small gesture like a cake (and evenmentioned my budget 20-30 Dollars, not a big deal for a group of 4. Unfortunately, that was completely ignored – no acknowledgment, no effort nor even a call to say they won't do it which I obviously would not mind...
Upon arrival, we were seated immediately, but from there, the service was severely lacking. Our server, Hannah, brought the menu and took our order for starters. However, she never returned even after we finished. We had to flag down another staff member just to place our main order.
We ordered a pizza which was dry and tasted like the ingredients weren’t fresh. We asked to redo it, and while the second version was slightly better, it still wasn’t great. Even then, no one cleared our plates — we were left with the old pizza still on the table. I had to personally ask someone (who seemed to be the owner or manager), and frankly, their attitude felt cold and indifferent.
We ended the night abruptly, feeling unwelcome and let down. $125 for one pizza, four cocktails, and two calamari starters is not the issue — it’s the lack of care, poor service, and complete disregard for a special occasion that left a bad taste.
I left a small tip only out of respect for the kitchen staff who remade the pizza — not for the service or management, which needs serious improvement.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. I hope this helps others make an...
Read moreYou can smell the wood burning Pizza Oven for Blocks. Had to stop in and give them a try for Dinner.
Service They're a little tired of Tourists. But Tourists are probably 95% of Folks who eat here except for Hotel staff.
Ambiance For Summer its best to get a Patio seat facing West to watch the Sun go down all the while smelling that wood burning oven.
The Pizza Menu is by no means "Gourmet". But they charge "Gourmet Prices".
My bill for 1 Person came to $30 CAD. That was just Pizza + Tap Water. That’s expensive.
The Menu is simple. (I worry about getting steak here)
By 6:45 The Service Staff was already a little 'in the weeds'. Go early around 6PM or after prime time dinner hours to avoid 'Hangry' people.
With the Sun setting in the West, I ordered their version of 'Pizza Napoli" (Anchovies. Onions. Black Olives Tomato Sauce) called Pizza Romana.
It arrived Hot. It looked Pretty.
The flavor is completely RUINED due to the Pizza Sauce they use.
It's among the worst sauce I've ever had on a Pizza. Industrial, canned, school cafeteria.
That's a damn shame. The onions were good. And just the right amount of Anchovy.
The crust bubbled up nicely with some nice char on it.
My pizza was made by nice a super nice Pizza Maker named JB who made the pizza to my liking #WellDone
#ThankYouJB (But too bad the sauce let your work go to waste)
Recommend at 3 Stars for Sunset and JB.
I Might Have a Beer and a Salad next time.
Please let me know when your disgusting pizza...
