I'm basing this review on Canadian standards.
The ice caps we ordered were great! The service below par. For example, when asked what are the sizes the lady behind the calendar replied small, medium and large. When I asked what that means in size, she looked at me not understanding what I was asking. I asked to see the containers and she reluctantly and with attitude walked to the station to show me. She mistakenly held up medium, claiming it was large.
Then there is the cleanliness issue. There were serviettes and tissues in several locations on the floor. As well as three wet floor caution cones. The floor was dry, but not as clean as it should be. That plus the amount of debris on the floor leads me to believe that the staff hadn't tended to them in a long while. This is surprising given that the shop wasn't very busy, no lineup.
I don't know how much of this is a cultural thing with the Indians that staff the shop, but management should be doing a better job at training and monitoring. What is head office doing that they're not on...
Read moreMy visit to this Tim Hortons location was actually quite disturbing. Let’s get the positives out of the way, the coffee was good. Now on to the issues. The older white lady with the brush cut who served me today came inside from her break and didn’t even bother washing her hands before making coffees and dishing out food. Two gentleman who were outside smoking with her entered the store at the same time as her and again, unwashed hands, not in Tim’s employee clothing, went behind the counter and helped themselves to baked goods. The baker at this location also had long straggly grey hair that looked very unkempt and was making all the food without a hair net . I have seen some atrocities in Tim Hortons before but this one was near the top of the list when it comes to improper food handling and being anything close to sanitary. Shocking to say the least, I’d go elsewhere if...
Read moreSince I arrived, the two guys who were there were unempathetic and very poorly trained. It seems they don't have the slightest criteria in customer service and that is evident in their lack of tact when speaking and responding. But the worst of all is that what I ordered was spoiled and the guy who sold me the spoiled food went to hide where the boss's office was supposedly, someone who also didn't let himself be seen or had the delicacy to come out to ask what was going on. The funniest thing is that he asked me if I wanted another "Havanero." Obviously I asked for my money back because I'm worried about the condition of the things that one innocently puts in their mouths. Be careful. I had the worst experience and thank God I was freed from a possible stomach ache. Take your precautions and if possible SMELL what you order before putting it...
