This used to be a great location until the original manager and staff left. It's been a while since I've received quality service. Today, I ordered a $6.00 veggie breakfast sandwich. The egg was actually cold, not even warm. They argued that they can't burn the sandwich. They insisted to reheat my bitten sandwich on a grill that they use to heat everything without wax paper or anything. This is a major red flag as it's a huge hygiene issue. They gave me attitude throughout the entire refund process. For a small sandwich costing $6.00, they can't even provide the basic customer service. Even Starbucks is cheaper than that, and readily rectifies their mistakes. I don't know what happened to this Balzac's, it's been almost a year since they were functional and friendly. I didn't think it was possible for the company to be anymore pretentious. They claim to only brew fair trade and ethically sourced coffee but their house blend isn't credibly sourced and most definitely not fair trade. I would just avoid the coffee company entirely, they show unethical practices in more ways than you can imagine. Also, their small cup is basically shot glass sized. I've never been so irritated by a...

This one was no exception. On my way to MTCC for a conference and used the path / skywalk and came here on my last day and just like any location, very quick.
I tried the new cookie crumble latte and just delicious. A good drink for people who like their coffee and espresso drinks a little sweeter but still want that espresso taste still.
Service was great. Employee saw me come up, stopped what she was doing immediately and helped me out. Barista got my drink and by the time I sat for a minute, drink was all ready to go.
Great turnover with minimal wait times.
A nice location too. Like the fact that you kind of have a view of the trains as it is right by the up express. So with that, there’s a lot of natural light coming in...
Read moreFor $6.50 I got a small coffee and an oatmeal cookie. Not the best cookie I've had but tasty nonetheless. No complaints about the atmosphere. But the service I got was something else. I politely asked the first lady who served me where the beans in one of their blends came from. She couldn't answer me and asked another male who boldly told me "The beans are from Canada". Was he trying to insult my intelligence in the worst possible way? If so he succeeded. Finally, a third person (another lady) brought out a binder which listed all of the blends and where the beans were from (in my case, I had a blend whose beans were from Central and South America). If the management of this location actually reads this review, please invest in more training for those...
