We had a mixed experience working with Camilla for our group destination vacation. On the positive side, she was friendly and made an effort to accommodate our schedule, despite the time zone difference. She was also willing to work after hours to assist us and helped us select a resort that met the needs of our group.
However, there were some issues that impacted our overall experience. First, while she generally responded promptly to emails from my partner and me, there were times when she overlooked important details. She often answered only part of our questions, leaving some matters unresolved. We found that phone conversations were much more effective than email in these cases.
Second, there were spelling errors on the travel documents for some members of our group. While she did correct these once we pointed them out, it was still an inconvenience. Third, some of our group’s emails went unanswered. For example, one guest requested additional coverage, but the request was never addressed. Other guests asked to change their departure destinations, but these requests also went unanswered. One guest ended up forfeiting their flight and using a different travel agent to change their departure destination. Additionally, a guest requested to secure their deposit but didn’t receive a timely response, causing them to miss the deadline and resulting in higher prices—something that could have been avoided with better communication.
We were also concerned when sensitive documents were sent to the wrong email address for one of our guests, raising privacy and security issues.
Lastly, when we requested a breakdown of charges to better understand the costs, we were not provided with one. This lack of transparency left our group feeling confused and uncertain about the final charges.

Read moreCamilla was the travel agent for my friend’s wedding in Mexico. There were about 68 people who came down. And it was a mess from start to finish. Her attention to detail is horrible. We had to constantly make amendments on our travel documents to get something as simple as our names spelled correctly. She also made false promises ahead of the trip, which caused problems at the hotel. I was trying to celebrate my bf’s bday that weekend and Camilla promised room decorations that the hotel said they don’t do without purchasing a larger package. She is also not responsive to emails. You can easily wait 1-2 weeks for a response back. And the bride and groom have dealt with false promises and are STILL trying to sort through the mess Camilla created (two months later).
