Is this half empty bowl worth $20? I was shocked when I received the food today… there were only 6 pieces of chicken… and 5 pieces of sides each, majority of the food in my bowl is rice. In addition, the potatoes and chicken don’t taste fresh. They tastes like they are overnight food. The chicken is cold and dry, and potato skin is soggy and tastes stale. I remember when it first opened, I love the potatoes so much that I would order extra on the side. Now I don’t even bother because it’s been consistently bad. I used to love this place, the portion, the employees, the atmosphere, the food quality everything. But lately the young lady always only gave me little to no food. Is her performance based on how little food she can give to customers?? It’s so disappointing as someone who’s been here since day 1 but being turned away due to bad operations. If you wanna eat here you might as well go to chipotle next door. Way more food and only costs $14 :)

WOW!!!!!!!!! šŸ˜šŸ¤© I am SO happy I decided to stop here during my busy day shopping on Queen West. Thank you to Luis, the wonderful person that served me. I will 10000% be ordering from Brasa online & returning in-person any time I can in the future. Incredible food! So fresh! The smell immediately consumes you as you enter! Absolutely amazing salad bowls with freshly cooked meats, an amazing range of sauces.. It’s also very clean inside! I wish I lived next door! I would rate this place 10 stars if possible! My goodness…. This is the kind of place Toronto needs more of! The food is FRESH and SO TASTY, properly flavoured and their service is amazing! I feel like I could keep going and going, haha. This also is probably an expression of how disappointed I’ve been at other food establishments lately but yeah… I LOVE BRASA. GRACIAS POR EXISTIR šŸ˜šŸ¤©šŸ„³šŸ™

First time trying Brasa out. Had the short rib bowl, it was delicious! Everything was very fresh and flavourful. My only other feedback is that some of the rice was undercooked (can be seen from the darker orange colouring) and resulted in some more hesitant bites as they were pretty tough. Overall good experience, was helped by Paige and she was lovely. EDIT After leaving the review above the Brasa team was very quick to communicate with me about my experience. Laura Grant was very quick to reach out and did an amazing job. I came back to try the Hot Brasa Chicken and was blown away. Everything was so fresh and flavourful, I especially found the potatoes to be unlike anything I have tasted. Only other feedback is I did add sweety drop peppers and did not receive them. Overall very good experience and would recommend to others.

Absolutely love Brasa. Before I get into the review I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Juan, who was the kindest, most helpful and enthusiastic employee. He helped me build my own bowl full of Peruvian superfoods, and you can tell he’s extremely passionate and hard working. He made the entire ordering process so smooth and seamless- My bowl was 10/10. I cannot wait to be back!

Had the best experience at this location. I’ll always support Brasa because they use clean and pure ingredients. Everything is all natural and so unique. I highly recommend their Brasa Chicken Bowl with Mixed Greens and Potatoes, and any of their smoothies.

So thankful for places like these that allow us to eat healthy, one of a kind meals, while feeling nourished. I’m obsessed with Peruvian superfoods!

I truly have the utmost respect for this brand and its employees. You can tell the company truly cares for its employees and is passionate about the food and experience they serve. I recommend checking out their Instagram to learn more about what makes this brand so unique!!

Cannot wait to be back...

Brasa has been my go-to spot for food whenever I'm in the Queen West neighbourhood. However, my last visit was rather disappointing.

Upon arrival, the restaurant was silent and empty- no music or anything. I was looking for recommendations, since I get the same bowl everytime. I asked the employee questions like what "maca root" was and she told me it was "a root from peru". I had to further ask her to explain and describe the taste. In addition, I asked for mote or "giant corn" and she gave me regular corn, with very few mote cut in half... looks like they were running out but did not want to disclose that. I also wanted to order a smoothie, but she said they were all sold out... it was 12pm on a Sunday afternoon. The business opens at 11!

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, however previous visits have been rather pleasant. I felt like the quality and vibes were severely lacking on this day...quite unfortunate as you are paying at least $15...
