Good Behaviour Ice Cream is hands down one of my favourite spots in the city. Every flavours I've tried has been a hit, from the classics to their rotating seasonal options, there's always something new and exciting. Their creativity really shines through, especially with their brand collaborations. "Runner’s High" with Arc'teryx is a perfect example of how they push boundaries and introduce thoughtful, unique flavours.
The variety is impressive and keeps me coming back, it’s clear they put a lot of care into crafting both taste and experience.
The only drawback is the lineups. On one hand, it’s a great sign of how popular and beloved the spot is, but during peak times, especially in the summer, it often feels understaffed. It’s usually just one person handling a growing crowd, and only near the end do they add extra help.
One thing to note the staff are incredibly friendly, sometimes a little too friendly. While the warm service is great, it can occasionally slow things down, especially if there's a line and a long chat is holding things up. If you're not in a rush, it adds to the charm. But if you're waiting behind, it can be a bit frustrating watching the staff chat while people just want to order and get on with their day.
There have been times when the line and slow pace made me give up entirely and head to places like Mizzica Gelateria or Gianni's Gelato instead. Even with longer lines, Mizzica moves tad faster because they consistently staff 2–4 people during rushes, clearly anticipating demand.
Still, the quality at Good Behaviour is fire. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously...
Read moreLife's hard. You've been good. Treat yourself! That is the motto of Good Behaviour - and to be honest, we could not agree more. Hoping to treat ourselves after a long week, we headed over to Good Behaviour (335 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2A1) in Downtown Toronto for a scoop of ice cream. An eatery with some of the most innovative ice cream flavours, this is the ultimate go-to if you seek out a dessert for comfort. When we went there, we ordered the Bourbon Butter Pecan Ice Cream and the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. With the velvety smoothness contrasting the satisfying crunch of toasted pecans, the Bourbon Butter Pecan Ice Cream was a decadent indulgence, rich with nutty goodness and a spirited sophistication. The Cookies and Cream made the afternoon even better - a timeless and irresistible dessert choice, the cookies provided a satisfying crunch that went well with the delicious vanilla ice cream. Overall, Good Behaviour exceeded our expectations with its delectable offerings, making it a must-visit destination for anyone craving a sweet treat in the heart of Toronto. Should you find yourself visiting Toronto, we'd highly recommend grabbing a scoop from here on your way!

Read moreHonestly, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. I thought it was good, not great. They only have 1 hot vegetarian sandwich, the mushroom. It was ok but personally found it a bit too bready and the flavors of marinated sour eggplant and mushroom didn’t quite go together as well as I’d have hoped. Still a solid, decent sandwich but not incredible or something I would seek out again.
The ice cream just wasn’t great for me. I tried a bunch of their flavors and ordered the strawberry cheesecake. None of the ones I tried nor the one I got was particularly tasty for me. It was so hard she had trouble scooping the tastes. It wasn’t super rich or creamy. All of them had an artificial taste. You can get better ice cream from the grocery store. I definitely wouldn’t come for the ice cream again, especially with Mizzica down the street.
Overall, I had high hopes based on the reviews but was let down. Will also note it was extremely expensive… my vegetarian sandwich and water bottle (because they refused to give me a glass) were over $22. The ice cream was even more. I’d much rather get meal at chipotle next door for much better flavor and...
