Read moreMe and my wife always go to the Kibo on Queen and we usually love Kibo so we thought it would be a good idea to try this place because of the patio. When we get there the place is backed up because of delivery orders which is fine but when we get our turn to order the girl who took our order had such a bad attitude -- if you guys are backed up thats on you, dont take it out on the other customers. Whatever we brush it off and we order a large order for 120+ dollars. The whole time we were asking the girl questions and asking if we can dine-in / sit down. This girl flat out told me no they dont do service. Whatever. We sit and wait for our order which took like 45 minutes by the way. We take our order we leave - at this point the whole experience has killed our appetite. We walk around for a bit around the area to look for a place to sit but no luck. So we figure to just go back to this location to use their patio. When we get back, all of the sudden there are parties of 2 and 4 all eating dine-in at the patio while my wife and I had to unpack our 125+ dollar order on to go boxes and paper plates while tables beside us get full attention and table service when we were literally just there 5 minutes ago with a big order. No one came to check on us, no one came to say thank you, no one did anything but the other tables are being served. This totally ruined our night, ruined our appetite all because yall wanted to treat your customers 2nd to Uber orders that you should be on top...
Read moreOrdered online for pick up from Kibo and received the most terrible service. Not only did they get the order wrong, when I called them over the phone they weren’t listening when they asked how I placed the order or the fact that they didn’t give us the right order and immediately said I called the wrong number. I had to repeat myself multiple times until they eventually offered to either transfer the money back to our credit card (which they asked us to give the number over the phone) or give us a new order, so we chose to get a new order. We went to pick up the order and they said no to us because we didn’t bring back the previous order, which there was no mention of during the phone call. So we had to go back home again just to grab the wrong order they made (which they may give to other customers), and go back just for them to physically take out the sushi/sashimi that was wrong and putting some new sushi back on our platter. Not only is our food now cold, which they refuse to replace, the customer service and communication was terrible and they completely wasted our time. The platter that we ordered was already luke warm by the time we go it, so by the time we actually got our meal back after they only replaced some of the sushi, the soup, edamame, and tempura were all cold, and yet they still refused to replace it. I will never be purchasing...
